RWAs are a traditional finance business, an extension of the current offerings distributed with new technology and regulated by existing compliance frameworks.
🚨 BREAKING: NYSE announces new tokenization platform. Here's what they're building: A completely new trading venue with: • 24/7 operations (no market hours) • Instant settlement (not T+1) • Stablecoin-based funding (not bank wires) • "Tokens natively issued as digital securities" Not retrofitting the existing exchange. Not adding blockchain to the back office. An entirely new venue. --- Think about what this means: NYSE will run two exchanges. The old one: 9:30-4:00 EST, T+1 settlement, bank wires. The new one: 24/7, instant settlement, stablecoin rails. They're not choosing between traditional and digital. They're operating both in parallel. --- How does this compare to others? Everyone else is building infrastructure to tokenize existing assets: • DTCC tokenizes existing custodied securities • State Street tokenizes MMFs and ETFs • Nasdaq amends rules for tokenized trading alongside traditional NYSE is building a new way to bring equities on-chain AND the venue to trade them. This puts them in competition with Figure's OPEN and Superstate. Native digital issuance. Native digital trading. --- Tokenized stocks enable a world where: • Settlement happens on-chain • Custody lives in wallets, not DTCC • Trading never stops • Capital formation happens in stablecoins The question for every institution: Are you digitizing your existing business or building the business that replaces it? NYSE just answered: both. --- #fintech #tokenization #infrastructure #digitalassets #stablecoins

Or, running financial markets on blockchain is cheaper and more effective (increasing profits) than paying for large admin offices around the world. We make more money and split it among fewer. Win-win.

I believe @jack once said that true transparency would be being able to choose between algorithms to avoid mass ideological biases across AI outputs. For now, we've got to trust the companies behind the service, and I trust @grok and @elonmusk without hesitation.

It is a matter of regulations and compliance to structure the right product for customers. This is the core friction holding everything: large projects have the bandwidth to invest in all necessary licenses and begin productizing assets while waiting for the sandbox to begin distribution. Everyone else is building complementary services. What we need is for normal consumers to be allowed in the system because RWA yields are not the right product for crypto natives looking for the capital multiples we are used to chasing.

Natural consolidation. Growth can be provided by integrating horizontally new products and services to increase market share and integrating vertically the supply (value) chain to optimise profit margins. This is always the same playbook, nothing to do with business models or crypto; it is just how growth company strategy works.
As a result of yield being shareable, the standalone stablecoin business will see its profit margins decline. That’s why both Circle and Tether are launching their own chains and changing the business model. The winners will not be those who only sold stablecoins as a single product, but those who, through vertical integration, were able to build a defensible moat.

This highlights IP as a resilient intangible asset. Netflix's market cap (and potential brand) takes hits from unpredictable events. Netflix produces, buys, and owns content distributed on its platform; the IP value of that content is unaffected by loss of stock value because it can be distributed or sold across other platforms and produce revenues. Use IP to hedge positions protectively. Index coming soon.

$RECORD sits basically at ATL, because noone really understands the potential behind / 6 digits deals already closed. Let me try to explain the basics of what @recordnexus does. 1/ Why @recordnexus $RECORD is building the missing financial layer for #IP ... music/software/brands/patents etc. etc.. . omega massive TAM, barely tapped on-chain...!!! 2/ the 3 pillars: - $YREC = fund/index layer around IP exposure (starting with public equities’ embedded IP value; private credit later). more than 210M $YREC minted. - IP Portal = “Pyth for IP” .. trusted pricing & index feeds. portal.record.nexus/global-o… - $RECORD token (100x+ inc.) = governance + guard (risk buffer) + fee capture. 3/ Unlike ppl may think/thought $YREC is not a stable coin ... It’s a certification/index layer for IP value ... designed for indices & derivatives, not a dollar peg. 4/ Timing: The “assets on chain” wave is here (equities/RWAs). The next logical step is IP as a native asset class with indices/perps/options ... exactly where $YREC + Portal aim. 5/ Portal moat: The network that nails IP pricing becomes the standard (think Pyth/Chainlink for prices). More users → better feeds → deeper liquidity → more users. 6/ Token economics: Portal usage = fees. Governance can route those into buybacks/burns/rewards etc... Plus $RECORD acts as a guard layer (takes risk, earns yield). Two value channels, one token. 7/ About TVL: Traditional DeFi TVL misses this. The core is on-chain certification of exposure and index flows, not deposits parked in AMMs. Focus on real cashflows & data, not dashboard vanity.!! 8/ Scalability: Supply side .. add more IP sources (royalties, software licenses, IP-heavy equities). Demand side—traders/institutions want IP beta (indices) + hedges (derivs). Both drive Portal fees. 9/ 100x+ thesis: • Enormous TAM (IP is core to modern company value) • First mover in IP pricing/index oracle • Reflexive flywheel: more YREC/indices → more volume/derivs → more Portal fees → more value to $RECORD via governance levers 10/ Bottom line: $RECORD is the lever on the entire Record Nexus stack. YREC manufactures products (indices/derivs). Portal supplies data/pricing. RECORD captures value and guards risk. I’m bullish. NFA. DYOR.
