Yh considering what we’ve been missing in Leoni Bradley Ekitike and even Szo for a couple weeks now he’s done and unreal job. It hasn’t been always pretty but has made us sound defensively and got Isak his big chances to finish. Can’t complain about his start with us
Think Iraola deserves far more credit than the general consensus seems to be right now, he’s lost ONE match at Liverpool, to City. They’re 3 wins from 3 in the UCL, on 15 points after 8 games (71-ish point pace), utilising Nyoni, Koumas, Rio, McConnell. They were one of the teams whose transfer business was most worrying, Araujo’s done well but RB, LB, central midfield, he’s managed those issues near-perfectly. Still so much to be improved on even from a coaching POV but in a transition season with a sub optimal “rebuild” in the summer, you couldn’t have asked for much more.

Just left Universal. Getting gas at Wawa while there’s fireworks somewhere going on. Heading back to my house so I can do a homework assignment for UCF before I work at Disney tomorrow, then class at UCF, then HHN until 2 AM. The true Orlando local experience

With a goal contribution tonight, @OrlandoCitySC's Antoine Griezmann became just the fourth player in @MLS history to record a goal or assist in at least 12 consecutive matches in a single regular season.

People talk about managers and they should be given time but I always say, you have to earn your time. Iraola is doing that, even if games aren’t pretty, he’s proving he has the ability to coach 3 games a week, rotate, balance the XI, and win games. He’s earning his time:

🚨 Joe Gomez on what the win represents:
“Obviously it's a new management team and we want to show that fight, show that grit. It's MENTALITY and I think that's what we're known for and we're always trying to uphold that standard, and I think we did that tonight. It was important that the lads kept on fighting, kept going until the end and we did that.” 🔴

Trey Nyoni was Liverpool’s most impressive performer. The way he tamed bouncing balls in the middle of the park to reset Liverpool into settled possession. Some impressive turns. And he has a high level of intelligence to make the correct decisions again and again. Metronome.
“BREAKING” we all knew 😭😭😭
🚨Declan Rice, Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino are all expected to be fit to face Liverpool on Sunday.
Christos Tzolis is also pushing to make the game.
