Imagine taking on russian and German armies at the same time, driving them both out, and today leading the world’s security council.
This is Latvia 🇱🇻🫡
Latvia has just assumed the Presidency of the United Nations Security Council for the first time.
On this day in 1919, Latvian Colonel Krišjānis Berķis signed the order to launch a counteroffensive against German-Russian forces.
After liberating Riga, Latvian forces went on to achieve full victory in the Latvian War of Independence, securing the sovereignty of their young republic in international law.
107 years later, this now enables Latvia to take a world leading role in standing up for the sovereign rights of all nations to exist in peace and security under international law.

I tend to be a pessimist, but here is some optimism for you:
Islam has been defeated in Iran. On a cultural, societal and national level.
The islamic regime consists of 100 year old mullahs and 75 year old IRGC terrorists. Meanwhile, Iran's youth has never been more fiercely anti-islam than they are right now.
Mosques are shutting down.
Arabic/islamic baby names are plummeting.
Ancient Persian heritage is embraced more than ever before.
And soon, the chains of the barbarian regime known as the islamic republic will be destroyed.
After this 47 year long dark night ends, there will be a bright future.
We will win.

It’s always been Qatar. Saudi Arabia and the UAE were on the verge of invading and attacking Qatar 8 years ago because of their association with the Muslim Brotherhood and their sponsorship of terrorism.
The Saudi Foreign Minister even publicly called them out for it.
What’s incredible is that tiny Qatar seems to have replaced the Islamic Republic as the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. It used to be Iran, no one even mentioned Qatar even though they were actively funding egregious activity all over the world. As for the propaganda part, that is absolutely right since they own AlJazeera. I remember in Paris several years ago having a “wonderful” line up of TV options: AlJazeera English, BBC and other propagandist based channels. I was somehow able to get Fox News on my iPad.
It was very enlightening to see that and the yellow vest riots in which my daughter managed to get caught on her way to her favorite patisserie to get gluten free cookies. She used to spend a lot of time in Paris while attending the London School of Fine Arts for a semester; she almost got arrested on a class trip to the Louvre for getting too close to the Mona Lisa.

Take Israel out of the headline and suddenly the "humanitarian industry" goes on mute.
Some people think Scotland couldn't be independent because we're too small or don't have the natural resources for it.
Meanwhile Latvia, with 1.83 million people, no oil, gas or major exports, will take the Presidency of the UN Security Council tonight.
POV: You were born to a country wiped from maps, whose freedom was long considered a lost cause by much of the world, and you grow up to see your country assume the Presidency of the United Nations Security Council (starting midnight tonight).

I've started translating videos some time over 4 years ago. I've taken about 2 weeks off the entire time.
I put in countless hours every day to find materials that I think matter as well as clips that I think would lift your spirits and make you smile — because we all need that under the circumstances.
I've put my life on hold because I don't have a team — I'm just one person, and between work and my family, there's little free time left for much else.
I don't know how many videos I've translated. Even if I count 5 a day on average, it's already over 7,000. My guess is that in reality the number is over 10,000.
I've never watermarked my videos or added my name to them. I want people to use them if they think it helps Ukraine in some way or fights Russian propaganda.
If they credit me — great, it's nice to feel appreciated. If they don't — that's fine with me because I'm here for Ukraine. Mostly…
Mostly, and not only, because I'm also here for all of you wonderful people who chose to stand with Ukraine in its darkest time of this century.
