We had an incredible week in France and are grateful for the strong and ongoing support of Idaho Senate President Kelly Anthon, and Southern Idaho Economic Development’s Jan Rogers and Jason Barnes. We participated in a dinner featuring Idaho foods at the residence of the Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Paris hosted by current DCM Mario Mesquita. Thank you! We met with potential interns and Dijon city officials. We are also grateful to US Consul in Lyon, Molly Mayfield Barbee, who hosted several meetings with Lyon leaders. The week concluded with a productive meeting with Mathieu Durou, Agronomic Coordinator for Alliance Regionale Est Appro (AREA), who is assisting coordination of RDX-N trials in France. Merci Mathieu! There are impressive results from grower Shey Taylor's Southern Idaho corn harvest. Shey saved $60 an acre over his 800 acres, by incorporating RDX-N® and reducing his liquid nitrogen by 50 percent. In New York, Ag Biotech, Inc. and the Redox team have a Riesling wine grape trial following a challenging growing season marked by excessive rainfall and high temperatures. Berry splitting and sour rot have been significant challenges. Our trial partner is evaluating four applications of Mainstay Si at 3 qt/acre. Mainstay Si is a certified biostimulant that delivers a combination of calcium and silicon designed to support stronger plant structure, natural plant defenses and overall structural integrity.
