artfinder.com/product/dahlia… A recent visit to RHS Wisley inspired this original painting. and the whole thing just filled me with the need to capture some of these dahlias' beauty in paint.

Some progress on this one today - my plan is to keep the colours vibrant and the brushstrokes loose 😁🎨 #art #artist #artcollectors #flowers #colour #originalart #acrylics #sussexartist

We went camping .... this is how it went: 🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌞🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧🌧 .... we LOVED it! 😂🤣😂 #closeupoftheday

Early stages of a new, larger painting which will be my companion for a while 😁🎨 #art #artist #sussexartist #flowers #colour #painting #originalpainting #smallbusinessowner #localartist #acrylicpainting

I'm so happy to share my latest painting with you - "Dahlias" 12½ x 18½ cm on Khadi paper 😁🎨 #art #painting #paintingonpaper #original #originalart #flowers #pink #artcollectors #sussexartist

It's been a chill day today, including a walk along the cliffs in the sunshine 🌞 I've nearly finished a new painting and will share it soon, but in the meantime, here's a handpainted heart 😁🎨

The second in my "Among the Trees" series. That feeling of being surrounded by nature, under a canopy of trees, with little shards of light glinting through the leaves and branches. Bliss 😊 #art #artist #artcollectors #trees #nature #green #originalpainting #paintingonpaper

"Among the Trees" 12½ x 18½ cm, acrylic on Khadi paper 😁🎨

etsy.com/uk/listing/43631931… "It's like a spoon into a new dimension." 😁 🎨

Six miniature woodland scenes, each painted on a wooden spoon 🥄 😁🎨

This original painting will be available soon ... unfortunately the tiger doesn't much care for travelling, so he isn't part of the deal 😁🎨

A wonderfully chilled wander through @sheffieldparkNT recently inspired me to paint another in my on-again-off-again "light through the trees" series. The thing which caught my eye about this scene was the view through the trees .. of more trees. 😎🎨 #ArtCollectors #originalart

Adding another layer - I can't wait to share the finished piece 👏😎🎨 #ArtCollectors #artist #workinprogress #art #closeup #colour #originalart #detail

etsy.com/uk/listing/43604708… I've just listed "Jazzy Flowers" .... it definitely brightens up the place 🤣 It's a busy, happy little painting 😎🎨

I'll look at softening the hard edge between the flowers and the background when I'm a bit more awake - but I'm ever so happy with the way the vase stands out against the wall, while still hiding within it 😎🎨
