SEXUAL COMPATIBILITY IS NOT ALL THERE IS TO GETTING MARRIED! Some of you have turned choosing a spouse into a checklist of physical attraction, sexual chemistry, height, money and “my spec.” And then you wonder why you keep overlooking good people. My husband wasn’t my spec oh. 😂 But over time, through friendship, I listened to him speak. I watched how he thought. I discovered how intelligent he was. This man knew things! And before I knew it, his mind became attractive to me. That’s something this generation needs to remember: attraction can grow when there is substance to discover. You don’t have to be sexually obsessed with someone on day one for the relationship to have potential. Sometimes, you meet a good person and the attraction deepens as you discover their character, wisdom, values and how they see life. Don’t reduce choosing a life partner to how badly you want to kiss them. You’re choosing somebody to build a LIFE with, not just somebody you have chemistry with.

Don’t confuse a man’s attention with his intention. Someone can talk to you every day and still have no plans for you.

A boy from Uselu and a girl who wanted to sell moi moi. That’s where our story began. The only thing we did was obey God and stay with Him. People said, “You’re wasting your time.” My wife’s parents even asked her, “Is this how much you like poverty that you want to marry Ohis?” But God said, “Go.” And that was all the currency we needed. It wasn’t easy. It wasn’t smooth. There were moments when what God said didn’t make sense. But we kept walking. And here we are today, still living the life of obedience. When God says “Go,” you may not have all the money, all the answers, or even a clear picture of where you’re going. But His word is enough to start moving. When God told Abram to leave his country, He didn’t give him a detailed destination. He simply said, “Go… unto a land that I will shew thee.” — Genesis 12:1 God guided his footsteps as he obeyed. So stop making finances the final argument against obedience. If God said go, go. If He said start, start. If He said leave, leave. Obedience may not come with a full map, but God will guide the footsteps of the obedient. When God says “Go,” His word is the currency you need.
