skirk being the bridge between natlan and nodkrai is so fitting w how their stories revolve around war, loss, and home. esp when you consider natlans choice to record their history through art, just like how skirk preserves her home world through music

i find it interesting that the localization team is inconsistent with how they call flute players over the course of development "flutist" (2026) vs "flautist" (2020) both NPCs from Mondstadt so its not like its a regional thing lol

Most of those who tried correctly heard Ode to Liberty (or A gentle Wind Blows Softly) behind this. Yijun Jiang has that talent: turning an existing melody into something completely different: style, orchestration, development... It's such a wonderful tribute to Händel.

This is from Händel - Suite No.7 in G minor, Passacaille. Genshin players: doesn't it remind you of something? 😼 (I've already briefly mentioned it before, so if you already know the answer, let the others figure it out!)

oh gosh.. many things made me like it actually i can't pinpoint it to one reason. i grew up in a household where classical music was played throughout the house. i took violin lessons when i was 5? but ended up being a flute player around middle school which i LOVED- (1/6)

listening again made me realize that... this is kinda part of my life. music, i mean. even if i no longer perform, i should try to at least share my passion with the world. what better way to do that than by making videos and discussing about these beautiful works online!(6/6)

Ballade No. 1! But that's because i grew up listening to it due to one of my parents (who's a pianist) liking it quite a lot so i heard it more often than the other 3 LOL

ok i lied there's actually a Melusine Philharmonic Orchestra mentioned in a bulletin board, but none of the Melusine NPCs have mentioned that they're a musician from the orchestra!!!! there's also this NPC that implies the existence of the musical instrument industry....

so where are the orchestras that utilize these instruments? is everyone a soloist, or does the Traveler manage to avoid every professional classical musician encounter AND orchestra performance somehow LMAO 😭😭
