Still early days (15% of the vote counted), but the DA has pulled quiet the lead in Gauteng. Action SA doing well especially in Pretoria. This could be quite the watershed election. Seismic really…
I just went to vote and it was empty. Like it took me less than 2 minutes. I hope this is not an indicator of low voter turnout…

It is my honor and privilege to be headed to the US Senate to serve the great state of Michigan.
Michigan, we did what they said couldn’t be done. We won. Together. Now the real work begins.
I long stopped listening to him when he called in private security (read militia) and eventually police to suppress protests at Wits during Fees Must Fall and the fee hikes. Once a person on the left who now advocates for a party that shamelessly protects the elitist interests…
Speak on it @SongezoZibi! #KnowYourDA
The double edged sword of trading with the west. They are all about maintaining the north south dichotomy. Kudos to Kagame for having courage to walk away. Meanwhile our western allied media vilify our leadership when they question these very dynamics…
This aged like milk…
I can't wait to see mainstream media talking heads, pollsters, newspaper editors and out-of-touch academics make excuses and spin if things don't go the way they've so confidently said they would.
The Blue Wave, Obama on campaign, Abdul, Hillary, Kara Swisher, Hasan Piker, the DSA - pretty much all the worst people in America. Let's see what happens...
Now the Blue party has to show that they can act on things the Red Senate and House were unwilling to or face the same fate in 2 years time. Stopping silly wars, acting on the Epstein files, etc.
The Republicans and Trump are taking a hiding! States that are historically Red like Texas and Iowa have gone Blue. The house and senate are going blue. This is a stunning indictment of Trump’s (lack of) leadership!
Fernando Alonso was the problem. His rookie teammate was beating him in his first season and instead of keeping things professional, he made it personal. He turned against the team, leaked information and used it to blackmail.
Jenson Button was not the problem. He was his rival and Lewis Hamilton has openly admitted his own mistakes during their time together.
Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were locked in a championship battle that turned toxic. The team had to step in and years later, he admitted to playing dirty. Their rivalry took a toll on him, both physically and mentally and he retired.
George Russell was not the problem. He never pulled the kind of ridiculous moves that Charles Leclerc does. If anything, Mercedes and Toto Wolff made his final years with the team increasingly difficult.
And let's add Valtteri Bottas to this list. He had his fair share of battles with Lewis Hamilton but eventually came to understand that reaching his level was not realistic for him. Instead, he focused on fighting for podiums and he succeeded. He finished his Mercedes career with double digit wins, multiple podiums and 5 Constructors' Championships to his name.
Out of everyone you've listed, only 1 person has continued to speak negatively about Lewis Hamilton while the rest have consistently praised him.
Lewis Hamilton has spent 20 years in Formula 1 and has experienced some of the most intense teammate rivalries in the sport’s history. He understands what it takes to win as a team, something Charles Leclerc struggles to grasp despite being in his 9th year in Formula 1. And continues to cost his team valuable wins and podiums, throwing away crucial opportunities and points that could make a difference in the championship.
Funny how that works isn't it.
