Sitting overlooking the water and thinking about things....
See this young man? I met him when he came to do my sheetrock in my office and shop. After that, he was intrigued by what we do and he kinda asked if he could he considered for a position.
Now, I don't really hire young folks very often, but I liked the kid. He was well mannered, well spoken, and a hard worker, so I offered him a position. His one request? He asked if he could leave a little early on Mondays. Why? Because he has a Bible study group in Knoxville. (I thought he was joking, and laughed. He was not)
In the past year, he has been a sponge and learned an insane amount, BUT my own journey to Christ is thanks to him.
I watched a 20 year old kid live what he spoke, AND spending dozens of hours a week together in a car, we talked a ton. He answered questions and was a resource that didn't feel like an authority figure. He has taught me so much, and I have given him a career. His church was the first I attended a month ago. He sat with me and helped me keep the courage to stay.
In a few years, I hope to hand him the reigns of the company for day to day operations. Yes, he means that much to me.
He has became like a son. I look forward to seeing him grow in Christ, seeing him meet someone and start a family, and seeing him grow in our industry.
Tonight, I am grateful that he had the courage to ask me for the job. Truth be told, I needed him more than he needed me. God knew what he was doing sending him my way. He needed a career, and I needed the word without pressure.

Call your congressman. Nothing is set in stone yet.
Don't let bad ideas fester in DC
Trump: "We are working on beef. I think we have a deal on beef that's gonna bring the price of beef. That would be the one product that we would say is a little bit higher than we'd want it. Maybe higher than we want it. And that's gonna be coming down pretty soon too. We did something, we worked our magic."

USDA: Hey we are going to give you a few bucks to retain heifers.
Farmer: But if I fatten her I can get $4000
USDA: But we need to rebuild the herd.
Farmer: Won't that make the price go down?
USDA: You're missing the point, we are going to pay you to retain heifers
Farmer: If the price goes down, won't I lose money on those heifers.
USDA: Yes, but that's not the point. We are giving you free money.
Farmer: But this will kill the market
USDA: You don't understand, we need to lower the food prices.
Farmer: 👀
USDA: 👀

You call that a thread? That ain’t a thread. Polemics Santa 🎅 has a few gifts in his bottomless bag of memories about Lifeway. 🧵
TD Jakes is an anti-Trinitarian, Modalist, Prosperity Pimp heretic and we had to complain for FIVE YEARS before they removed him.

Now that Donald Trump has directed Elon Musk and DOGE to look into the Department of Defense, we HAVE TO look into this
The Department of Defense is providing school lunches in America. Just imagine the secret deals going on with this….
“I thought DOD stood for something else, but you're saying it's definitely Department of Defense providing the school lunches?”
“Yeah”
“Who mandates this? The state and the federal government?”
“Yeah.”
—“Mandate who you buy food from?”
“Yeah”
“They'll give us hundreds of thousands of dollars, but we can only spend it in their channels. — There there specific companies that you're allowed to buy through
We purchase through DOD. They have their own ordering guide, and we purchased through them. But they they work out the contracts throughout the General Mills, etc”
“Sucks for you guys and it sucks for us and it sucks for the kids. And in the same respect, if the Department of Defense is supplying the food and they are the ones who are negotiating these contracts with these mega corporations like, you know, General Mills and Yeah. Nestle, all of these.
Right. Then they are incentivized to get the lowest quality at the highest, you know, price. So so then the more processed, the better for them. So, again, it seems like the only options you guys have are the things that are predetermined anyway, and so your options are limited.”
You have to watch this whole video, this is CRAZY.
Why is the DoD providing school lunch contracts in America? EXCELLENT question… We need Elon Musk, DOGE and RFK Jr

Funny when the free money stops flowing, every company whats people that actually know how to do things. DEI simply means “didn’t earn it”.
🚨#BREAKING: Google has officially eliminated and ended all race and gender hiring quotas, shifting to a merit-based approach while reassessing its DEI programs.

SCHUMER ON @DOGE: "If the Founding Fathers were to be like DOGE, a small group of them would get together & dictate what should've been done in America!"

A few years ago, my family was coming back home on a blistering hot 4th of July on a desolate stretch of ND road. We stopped to help a Native girl who had a flat tire, with a baby in the backseat.
Try as I might, I couldn’t get the car jacked because she parked so unevenly on the soft shoulder.
Wife asks, “What are we gonna do?”
I tell her, “We’re waiting for a Southerner to drive by. They’ll figure it out” (the ND oilfield is full of Southerners).
Sure enough, about 20 minutes of folks driving by later, up pulls a lifted King Ranch pickup with Texas plates and FIVE barely-adult white boys climb out, and *without talking to us* proceeded to figure out the problem and changed the tire. LIKE WE WEREN’T THERE.
They nodded, but continued their conversation about “jug fishing.” Five minutes later, they were gone.
My roughly 10 year-old asks, “Mom, were they angels?”
Mandy says, “Even better. Rednecks.”
These are the finest people on God’s green Earth, and are a national treasurer.
