Remember the diesel deal Trump made with Putin?
Well, the diesel isn't coming to the US because importing Russian fuel has been illegal since 2022.
Yet, the US paid for it anyway.
The art of the deal, baby.

Where are the protests? Where is the outrage? Russia targeting civilians daily.
This is beyond horrifying.
Russia struck a railway station in Dnipro with a drone, killing 13 people who were simply waiting for their train.
The drone operators could see the platform in real time. They could see the civilians standing there. They knew what they were targeting, and they struck anyway.

Russia started this war. Russia continues killing Ukrainian civilians every single day. Russia won't stop until it is stopped.

TERRIBLE NEWS FROM UKRAINE💔
russians just reportedly flew a drone
DIRECTLY INTO A CROWD at a railway station in Dnipro.
Initial reports say 13 PEOPLE KILLED INSTANTLY. Many more injured.
These were PEOPLE.
Not military targets. PEOPLE.
I am shaking with anger.
WORLD, PLEASE WAKE UP!
How many more Ukrainians must be murdered before you react?
PLEASE DON’T LOOK AWAY.
Putin has not been getting accurate reports from the ground. He also overestimates Trump's influence. His position is considerably worse than he thinks it is. His stance is not insane, just misguided and isolated.

If we are now allies of Russia and enemies of Ukraine, the President should say so and make it plain why he thinks this is in America's best interests and why national honor means so little to him.
I feel like war within Europe is inevitable.

A few corrections, Vatnik, just to make sure that your attempt at disinformation won't stand:
1. Many Finns are definitely Karelians. Karelian territory extends from the Russian side of the border over to ours.
2. The best estimate is that more than two million Finns currently living in Finland have Karelian roots. That's roughly 40% of the entire nation's population. Many Karelians don't know they are Karelians. Most people figure out after doing genealogical research. I was one of these people.
3. Karelians are an explicitly Baltic Finnic ethnic group who practice Baltic Finnic culture and speak a Baltic Finnic language that's almost thoroughly mutually intelligible with the Finnish language. Karelians have almost nothing in common with Russians Slavs and practically everything in common with Finns.
4. "Russian" and "Finn" also refer to civic nationalities. Karelians in Russia are ethnic Finnic peoples with a Russian citizenship (россиянин). That doesn't make them Russian by ancestry (русский).
5. Your nation actively oppresses and marginalizes the Karelian people, having all but thoroughly colonized their land, language, and lifeway as of 2026. Meanwhile, Finland cherishes Karelian culture, ancestry and continues to centralize it in Finnish identity through daily heritage events across the nation.
Russian Karelia is a ruined, impoverished and destitute periphery, ravaged by Kremlin. Finnish Karelia is a thriving cultural and economic center.
Sit the fuck back down.

There was once a shepherd who found a wolf caught in a snare at the edge of his pasture.
The wolf begged to be freed.
“I was hungry,” it said. “That is all. Spare me, and I will remember your mercy!”
The shepherd cut the rope.
The next night, three lambs were gone.
Again the shepherd found the wolf. Again it pleaded. Again the shepherd convinced himself that mercy was proof of his goodness.
By winter, half the flock was dead.
An old farmer finally asked him, “Why do you keep freeing it?”
The shepherd answered, “Because I refuse to become cruel.”
The farmer looked at the empty field and said, “Then understand what you have done. You were not merciful to the wolf. You were cruel to everything that trusted you to keep them safe.”
That’s the lesson.
Mercy without judgment isn’t virtue. When someone openly intends to destroy what has been entrusted to you, endless forgiveness doesn’t make you righteous. It makes everyone behind you pay for your vanity.

For my English-speaking followers, let's get the facts straight about the Stubb–Støre call with Putin.
New reporting from Finland provides important details missing from much of the international debate. Some of the initial accusations now look rather premature.
First, why did the call happen?
According to President Stubb, Ukraine's peace negotiations were close to collapsing last week, with relations between Kyiv and Washington in serious trouble. Finnish sources suggest there was even a risk of the US disengaging from the process.
At Zelenskyy's request, Finland and Norway organised the Oslo talks with American negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, alongside other European representatives.
The subsequent call to Putin was prepared with Ukraine and the US. According to Finnish sources, key allies were informed beforehand and briefed afterwards. Helsinki also wanted Ukraine to publicly confirm its support for the initiative.
Zelenskyy has since explicitly defended the call and praised its transparency.
Second, the controversy surrounding European coordination deserves clarification.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen accused Finland and Norway of acting independently and failing to coordinate with other European countries.
But Stubb and Støre have both stated that allies were informed in advance and received detailed briefings afterwards. New reporting from Finnish news agency STT supports their account.
There is an important distinction between not being informed, not being consulted on the decision, and fundamentally disagreeing with that decision.
Frederiksen's criticism increasingly appears to reflect a disagreement over whether direct contact with Putin should happen at all, rather than simply a lack of notification. Her initial framing therefore risks creating a misleading impression of an uncoordinated diplomatic operation.
Political disagreement should not be confused with evidence that Finland and Norway acted behind their allies' backs.
Third, what actually happened during the call?
Finnish broadcaster Yle and news agency STT have challenged the Financial Times' account of Putin delivering a lengthy history lecture to passive Nordic listeners.
Their sources describe a substantive exchange in which Stubb and Støre questioned Putin about the upcoming Abu Dhabi negotiations and stressed that prolonging the war would not diminish European support for Ukraine.
Freedom of navigation in the Baltic Sea, keeping maritime routes open and Russia's shadow fleet were also discussed.
Finnish-Russian bilateral relations reportedly were not discussed at all. The parties agreed to keep the communication channel available.
Fourth, the risks were understood from the beginning.
Finnish sources say criticism and possible Russian propaganda exploitation were anticipated. One source described the initiative as values-based realism, which sometimes requires accepting political risks and their consequences.
This was a calculated decision, not an improvised attempt to normalise relations with Moscow.
Zelenskyy has also reminded critics that Putin's diplomatic isolation effectively ended with Trump's Alaska summit in 2025. Other European governments have maintained contacts with Russia, sometimes without comparable transparency towards Ukraine.
Ukraine requested diplomatic assistance, and Finland and Norway responded in coordination with Kyiv and Washington.
Supporting Ukraine for as long as necessary must also mean supporting it in the ways Ukraine actually asks for. That includes diplomacy.
Europe needs military strength, economic pressure and diplomatic influence. These are complementary instruments, not competing alternatives.
