When we return next week, we’ll get 218 signatures for Epstein Files Transparency Act II, which guarantees a vote. Survivors will be able to get their own records, State Attorneys General can prosecute crimes, and we can take the DOJ to court for keeping critical files hidden.⚖️

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney delivers a blunt message to Russia: “You cannot bomb Ukrainian cities and then send your junior players to Alberta to play hockey as if you were civilised people. No Russian or Belarusian teams at the World Junior Championship. Not under your flags. Not under any other flags. Period.”

Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face. These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy. While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

At what point do we stop focusing on who needs to pay more tax and start asking where all of our tax money is going.

2.3 million remortgage next year onto 6 percent fixes. The Bank of England plans to raise rates to 4 percent on Thursday. They say it fights inflation. It does nothing to the diesel price. Nothing to the heating bill. It only slows the economy and crushes consumer demand. They are hiking into an energy crisis and a debt crisis. North Sea oil and gas is taxed at 78 percent. The fields close. They import the fuel. The price stays high. Cutting the tax would lower the cost and boost exploration and GDP. They will not. They raise the rate instead. Your mortgage goes up. Your energy bill goes up. They call it responsible. It is stupidity.

Everton Wingers have scored 9 goals total since the start of last season. 7 in open play. It’s 2026 we cant solely blame our Striker for lack of goals….

Michael Carrick will doubtless pay the price with his job for this deserved defeat to an excellent Bournemouth side and another lifeless display by his Manchester United team. Some of his selections and tactics have been questionable, United were again so open in the centre. But Carrick was not responsible for recruiting Youri Tielemans, who lacks physicality and mobility (and Aston Villa haven’t missed him) and Andrey Santos, a Chelsea reserve.  Carrick was not responsible for the board’s damaging failure to strengthen at centre-back and left-back. Carrick was not responsible for his main striker Benjamin Sesko being injured and the board’s failure to provide him with cover. Carrick was not responsible for the club he loves being in the grip of co-owners like the Glazers whose priorities are focused more on business than the sport. The direction from the top has been negligible, arguably negligent. No real leadership. No expertise. Carrick may be out of his depth but many United fans sang his name during the painful demise to Bournemouth because they know he cares and they know the problems lie elsewhere. The Stretford End again sang in protest at the wretched Glazers. Noticeable that there were few songs in support of Bruno Fernandes. He is supposed to be captain, rallying the players, Footballer of the Year, Player of the Year, not arm-waver of the year, underachieving and complaining. Yet Bruno will be at United longer than Carrick.  Carrick was praised for United finishing third last season and getting in the Champions League. But he will doubtless go partly for his own failings and mainly the failings of others. And United will be trapped in this doom loop again. And again until the core problems are addressed in the boardroom - and the Glazers sell up - and flaws in the recruitment department. #MUFC #MUNBOU

Last night, a woman attended a Trump rally wearing a "Release the Epstein Files" shirt (a core promise of the Trump campaign). A ruckus ensued, and several MAGA men beat her mercilessly. While she was being beaten, Trump mocked her from the stage. Trump is a demonic force on society. I simply cannot think of any other word to describe it.

All I’m saying is having a team that’s guilty of 114 financial charges with a manager giving fist pumps on the touchline and a supporter base singing ‘we’ll cheat when we want’ top of the league is a pretty terrible look for the @premierleague

Worth remembering that the Etihad was built using tax payer money and given to MCFC on massively generous terms. Unlike Everton, who swallowed a big chunk of interest costs incurred by borrowing significant sums to fund the stadium. Had Liverpool Council built Hill Dickinson and given to Everton on the same generous terms that MCFC enjoyed for the Etihad --> no construction debt, hence Moshiri's stadium equity would have been used instead for the Football Club. Which would have negated the need for Everton to borrow much; hence significantly reducing non capitalised interest. That would have made a difference to (A) The size of their PSR breach for which they were hammered (B) Cash available to strengthen the squad when the club was in need of liquidity. The more you look at it, the more disgusting MCFC's cheating looks. They literally benefitted from a tax payer funded stadium. West Ham did too --> but they didn't cheat.

Taking the City verdict aside, the current framework of the top tier of English football is not fit for purpose. It is anti competition, anti competitive and needs major reform

Evertonians should pursue their campaign to get rid of Masters and get to the bottom of who suddenly wanted a pts deduction that had never before been used Masters has presided over an absolute corrupt shambles with PSR and VAR favouring the corrupt clubs The gov't must step in
In my opinion Evertonians should NOT fall into the trap of saying City should get a massive points deduction A points deduction was NOT on the table when clubs voted for PSR The points deduction was concocted by Masters and the corrupt clubs to get @Everton relegated

114/115 pretty conclusive. Also, what are City appealing against if there’s no sanction yet? Also, why did the PL publish the Everton ‘guilty’ verdict along with a 10 point deduction, applicable immediately and affecting (hugely) our league position. Two tier. Them and us.

Things Hitler did- 1. Threw parades for himself. 2. Made people cheer for him. 3. Took kids from their mothers. 4. Rounded up humans. 5. Spread lies and propaganda. 6. Only wanted to hear news that flattered him. 7. Built monuments for himself like a Triumphful Arch. 8. Controlled the media. But Trump is nothing like that, right?

Everton finished that game yesterday with a 19 year old central midfielder and two 20 year old wingers . I’ll say this until I’m blue in the face Moyes will use young players if he believes they are good enough

They need to stop this nonsense now. Everton have just had a perfectly good goal disallowed by VAR. If you have any feel for the game, when you see the replay, you will struggle to find the offence. Said it before, will say it again: they are actively looking to disallow goals.
