Dear Kristen @Kristen421014,
Thank you for your feedback. I actually met my wife like this. This is how Ethiopian Tewahedo Orthodox women dress. I had absolutely no impact on how she dresses. The Netela has been worn by Habesha women before Islam and Christianity became mainstream religions.
Even Ethiopia's First Lady, Zinash Tayachew, wears a Netela.
Please do not confuse modesty with freedom. Ethiopian women are more liberated than women in many climes, in the sense that even when an Orthodox Tewahedo woman marries you, only her children take your last name. Habesha women keep their father's first name as their surname in marriage.
For example, the Ethiopian First Lady, like other Habesha women, uses her father's first name, Tayachew Bere, as her last name.
My wife has chosen to keep her culture, and her culture has kept her and her people grounded.
Thanks again, and may God bless you.

Dear Mr Ogbonna from the Vanguard Newspaper,
Thank you for your feedback. I am only responding because you are a top-tier journalist. Otherwise, I would have ignored both you and the attached news item. The report is a story because it is not true. It is a complete fabrication. And I hope Punch Newspapers will revisit this and publish an apology.
Punch relied on a so-called passport Index published by IziVisa Passport Ranking Index, which is an unknown and unrecognised index. If you visit their website, izivisa.com, it is non-functional.
Additionally, Google notes that izivisa.com is a fraudulent website suspected of identity theft and phishing scams.
You do not have to take my word for it. Just type in the prompt 'is izivisa.com legit' on Google, Grok, or any AI of your choice and see what comes up.
Only one passport index is recognised globally by governments and both bilateral and multilateral agencies for ranking passports: Henley's Passport Index.
On Henley's Passport Index, Nigeria's passport has risen from 94th place in 2025 to 92nd this year. You can read it here: pmnewsnigeria.com/2026/10/14…
This is due to the stellar diplomatic performance of Her Excellency, Bianca Ojukwu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, under the leadership of His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
You can also visit Henley's website to verify what I wrote above. This is their website: henleyglobal.com/passport-in…
I have much respect for @MobilePunch Newspapers, and I hope they can correct their error. I also hope papers like @LeadershipNGA and blogs like @legitngnews, which ran with their story, can verify what I have written above and make corrections in the interest of patriotism.

Dear Ugo,
Thank you for your feedback. When God created man, shame was not in our factory setting. Shame is an impurity that entered humanity. It is an emotion that comes from the ego, and the bigger the ego, the bigger the shame. And as with many things your ego tells you, shame is a lie that you tell yourself.
Shame is usually present where self-love is absent, and materialism is present. Ugo, you come from God, and nothing you can do on Earth will make you lose your value before God.
Thankfully, I do not come from a culture where the 'See Your Mate' mentality brings about shame.
In my culture, we are brought up with a strong sense of self-worth, and that is intrinsic and innate in every Itsekiri. Therefore, our self-image is not affected by how others perceive us. No Itsekiri will ever be ashamed because of what another person thinks.
My great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather, Olu Oyenakpagha, was the first West African to write a letter when he wrote to Pope Innocent X on November 20, 1652, requesting additional Catholic priests for Iwere.
His father was the first West African to graduate from university in 1611. My own grandfather, Olu Ikengbuwa II, went to Oxford University, while my father was appointed the youngest judge in Nigeria at the time by General Babangida in 1986.
Other than the Royal Family of Benin, my family is the first Christian family in the geographical location now known as Nigeria, and we can trace our ancestry IN WRITING back to the 15th century.
So, coming from such a pedigree, there is NOBODY on Earth that can make me feel ashamed! I have very strong self-awareness, and that helps me develop a healthy awareness of others and my environment.
So, Ugo, you are right. I am shameless, and by the grace of God, shame will NEVER be a part of my lineage.
Thanks again, and may God bless you.

A special message of gratitude to my wife, Hana, who has made my life one without strife and created an enabling environment rife with the good life.
Dear Nwodo,
Thank you for your feedback. This photo of my wife and I was taken on Thursday, April 30, 2026, during the orientation for new Ambassadors. I have not received any public funds, nor have I accessed any budget.
Everything my wife and I are wearing in this photo, including the bag, is made in Nigeria.
Since I left office as a Presidential spokesman in 2015, I have been an investor, recognised by the world's number one investment-focused magazine, Business Insider, as the most influential investor online in Africa.
How my wife and I spend private funds we made legally and morally is our concern.
However, if you have evidence of any financial malfeasance on my part, I counsel you to make it public and also to initiate a petition against me to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
Thanks again, Nwodo, and may God bless you.

I warmly congratulate my brother @renoomokri on the approval of his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Mexico, with concurrent accreditation to Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. I am confident that his intellect, energy and gift for communication will serve him well in this important national assignment.
Reno, I wish you every success as you work to strengthen Nigeria’s ties with these nations, create opportunities for trade and investment, and champion the interests of our people. May your tenure be marked by purposeful service and lasting achievements. Go and make Nigeria proud.
Dear Chinedu,
Thank you for your feedback. At first, some of you said I would not be nominated. Eventually, I was nominated. Then a number of you said the Senate would not confirm me. I was confirmed. Next, the claim was that I would never be posted, that I was played. It turns out I was posted to the nation with the 13th-largest economy on Earth and also sent concurrently to three other countries (Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua) as an envoy.
Then the goalposts shifted, and many of you took the position that these nations would not accept me. I have now been accepted.
I do not know whether you are right or wrong in your new position that I would die before resumption. Only God knows the future. But whatever the case, whether I live or die, I do so joyfully and to the glory of my Maker. I have no fear of death. God did not consult me before my birth, and the Almighty will CERTAINLY not consult me before approving my death. The only time I am guaranteed is now. Not tomorrow. Not even this evening. Just now.
Chinedu, I plead with you and others like you to lose your fear of death. Every soul must taste death. You are overrating death. Death is just one small, inconsequential part of life. The ONLY critical part of life is what you do when you are alive.
God will not reward or punish anybody for how they died. On Judgment Day, people will only be assessed on how they lived.
On that note, Chinedu, I am deeply appreciative of your concern for my well-being, and may God bless you. I remain yours very truly,

Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the United Mexican States, Republic of Guatemala, Republic of Honduras, and Republic of Nicaragua.
On this joyful day for my family and I, I thank the Almighty God for seeing me through many travails. To God be the glory.
Also, permit me to thank His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for the confidence reposed in me.
I once again thank my foster parents, Esijolomi and Omerewumi, who moulded me, as a piece of clay they received from God, into what I am today. Unfortunately, Daddy is gone, but by the grace of God, my family and I had the great pleasure of celebrating my mother's 90th birthday this year.
Other than God, NO OTHER HUMAN BEINGS have been more responsible for making me into what I am today than these two angels, who in my mother tongue are referred to as my Olayemi.
I thank the angel in human form, and personification of all the goodness that it is possible for a human to have, in the person of Malam Nuhu Ribadu, a man most beloved of God.
I thank His Excellency, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, a most distinguished Nigerian diplomat and the Honourable Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Sir, perhaps only you and I know how indebted I am to you.
Finally, I thank God for my wife, Hana, who has created the blissful and peaceful environment that helped me find patience throughout my nomination, confirmation, posting, and final approval and acceptance by the host nation as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the United Mexican States.

Dear Agu,
Thank you for your feedback. I regret that you feel this way. I have no hatred in my heart for anyone or any group. Rather, I hold a charitable mindset toward all, regardless of region, religion, or communion.
Agu, you may recall the Onitsha Market Fire of 2019. Could you please Google how much I donated to the victims of the incident? These were persons of Igbo origin. By the way, I have never done the same to persons who are of the same ethnicity as myself, even though there have been fires in markets in Warri.
And you are right. I do not have shame. Shame is not a good thing. God did not create humans to be ashamed. Shame comes when you have low self-esteem and put other people's opinions above your own sense of self-worth.
I am the grandson of an Olu of Warri, and my pedigree is a source of inspiration and personal satisfaction. Whether I am an Ambassador for a day or four months, as you claim, no elective or appointive title is as important as that to me.
I believe in one indivisible Nigeria with equal rights for all citizens. By the grace of God, I will represent all Nigerians in the United Mexican States without fear or favour.
Thanks again, and may God bless you.
