Found washed up after winter storms, the giraffe in this montage is thought to be from a 1971 packet of Kellogg's Coco Krispies. Nearly 50 years old. They were also given away with packets of Puffa Puffa rice.

A message in a bottle, washed up yesterday. It had been thrown into the ocean the day before, just a few miles along the coast. Inside was a remembrance message 'to all who gave their lives for us'.

Amazing what people say when they think you aren’t listening. Had my earphones in today but not on whilst collecting #cigarettebutts. Got called an ‘effing do gooder’ (I think I may get a badge made!) and apparently there’s no need to pick up butts as the rain washes them away?!

Even the deepest parts of the ocean cannot escape plastic pollution. Every tiny animal captured from the Mariana Trench had swallowed plastic. 😮
