IMO I think the term Global North is better than West, because Latin countries have a vastly different experience and history than, say, the US or UK. Anyway, I won't fill everyone's feed with academic-y rambles.

Its controversial but i am going to tell you something. Okay. AI already exists everywhere. This platform X, uses AI. Your mobile carrier uses AI. Your banking system uses AI. Your WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook already uses AI. Right now every technology uses AI. You might think if we stop using AI for media/art creation we can achieve something. Unfortunately even the app you use to draw uses AI for database. We have already reached a point where AI is already rooted at the core of all the digitalization. Just not using AI for media, image or videos isnt gonna do anything. I know it is insulting to artists but even the hollywood movies have been using AI since 2025. We cant seperate ourselves from AI anymore. It is already an integral part of our economic structure.
