1/ Well, I guess I'm going on a Pentium III bender right now. And boy is this a whacky board (as is par for the course, if you've come to know me and the channel here).
Introducing: A Pentium III with DDR (and SDR)!
But why? Because science.
And why not?
11/ VIA's solution isn't anything to laugh at either. DDR on a PIII may sound ludicrous, and it probably is since the PIII's FSB is again limited by its single-pumped bus, but that's okay, and truthfully there is a notable impact in using DDR SDRAM on a PIII.
1/ Alrighty, feels like it's been a while since I wrote about something I'm interested in, but here's something and, welp, I'm interested!
10/ I'd love to build my main PIII around this board BUT the FREAKING PSU isn't a standard size. It's a Compaq OEM thing with 24 pins on one connector and 6 on another, and it is a centimeter and a half (or so) taller than a standard ATX PSU and doesn't fit any of my cases.
