I look forward to the day congress fully funds brain tumor research and we have scientists excited about so many treatment options, especially for glioblastoma
With 6 FDA approvals in breast cancer already in 2026, it was time to update the breast cancer treatment algorithms. It's a great problem to have when innovation is moving so fast that it's hard to keep up #bcsm @OncoAlert @DFCI_BreastOnc

For Vincent and everyone facing glioblastoma, it’s time for a better chance — better treatments, a better chance of long-term survival, a better quality of life, and better support.

I am thankful for these words I read this morning from Steve Garnaas-Holmes:
You can be a flower by the side of the road.
You can be a fountain for whoever passes by.
You can be a lighthouse where the coast is uncertain.
You can be a handrail, a park bench, an umbrella.
You can be the voice that does not jeer,
that calms, encourages, or thanks.
“Whoever gives even a cup of cold water
to one of these little ones will not lose their reward.”
(Mt. 10.42)

OPINION: The emphasis on the Pilgrims’ 1620 landing and 1621 feast erased a great deal of religious history and narrowed conceptions of who belongs in America – at times excluding groups such as Native Americans, Catholics and Jews.

Big thanksto @AustinAirport TSA staff who assisted me & my medical device through security on Tuesday. Really polite & helpful, made sure I was steady & knew where to go. My first time as a disabled person going through security on my own & TSA staff made it easy & safe.

NEW: In 2024 McAllen, Texas had a booming economy, with $100 million in increased sales tax revenue from 2023.
Now, residents tell us that it's a ghost town and the local economy is hurting.
Why? ICE raids on shops and factories have left workers too scared to go outside.

Today, we remember the 21 lives lost three years ago in the Robb Elementary Massacre in Uvalde, Texas.
For 77 agonizing minutes, law enforcement stood down as 19 students and two teachers were massacred in their classrooms by a teenage gunman with an AR-15 and thousands of rounds of ammunition. We can’t forget what happened here. We can’t let it happen again.
The survivors and victims families are among the bravest people I know. For three years, they have had to wake up to an empty bed where their loved ones used to sleep and adjust to a life without them.
They have fought for common sense gun safety solutions, only to be spurned by Republicans who only care about their checks from the gun lobby.
There is no recovering from an event like this– there is only a duller sense of pain.
It’s time to put an end to gun violence once and for all. For the 21, and for all of our loved ones.

I introduced a resolution in support of Glioblastoma Awareness Day.
My resolution increases glioblastoma awareness, which is critical to research and treatment advancements, and expresses support for those battling this disease.
May we honor the strength and resilience of those fighting today and those we have lost.
