Very impressed with #nzpost. Courier parcel sent yesterday arvo delivered to Auckland around lunchtime today.

OPINION: Trump, an unforgiving man, has used the new tariffs as a way to get even with Pope Francis, who has publicly clashed with Trump on many issues.

Great nights entertainment.
Abbey Road - start to finish.
Slick. Energetic. Passionate.
A tribute but not a tribute band.

Misleading spin by RNZ?
$800k saved, but what did the repair cost?
rnz.co.nz/news/national/5089…?
Deming’s quality management approach ended the “It’s the putting right that counts” mantra.
Getting it right rather than putting it right would save $$$$ for cash-strapped @WgtnCC
What’s the shame in @WgtnCC letting citizens know what it’s spending their ratepayer on?
I’ve also probably got it wrong when I think one purpose of Councillors is to serve the community and be accountable to it.
Wellington City Council spent $1.5m installing sensor car parking in 2016.
Now, the sensors are being ripped out & replaced with new bilingual parking meters. But the council won't tell us how much it's costing.

Thanks to the @WgtnCC for collecting our Yellow Top recycling bins this week when its website says it will collect Glass crates.
Confusion for a second week in a row.
Hey @SimeonBrownMP Don’t stop Now.
How about cancelling all cycleways that have not started construction.
They’re a waste of money.
Alternatively make the users pay.
And Wellington ratepayers call for Mayoral ceasefire around @WgtnCC table.
Despite, for years paying my @WgtnCC Rates (includes water) and trusting they were used properly, it looks like I might have to dig up my garden and lay concrete in favour of spending on sometimes-used cycleways.
On this basis I wonder if Stuff considered looking at themselves and withdrawing from the Media?

And the cost savings are…
Two kilometres of bus and bike improvements are now open from Newtown to the city!
#OurWellington #TōTātouPōneke
Thoughtful piece by Ian Apperley on the state of the spendthrift @WgtnCC financial crisis.
No, the city won’t go bankrupt but having to pay ever increasing rates may mean its citizens just might.

After a fantastic performance by @MutchJessica for the @1NewsNZ Leader's Debate, TVNZ go and spoil it with one of their usual one-sided panels. A former Labour Party leader (and the most left wing of them all to boot), @MaikiSherman, and Tau Henare?! Can TVNZ seriously not do do just one panel with balanced with a conservative.
For a balanced panel, head over to our LIVE feed from the Backbencher at 9pm taxpayers.org.nz/debate_live…
Congratulations @dianecalvertnz for the courage to say what does not surprise thinking Wellingtonians.
About half the entitled recidivist profligate @WgtnCC councillors ought resign.
Fun time is over.
