Sizing down is the right move in this market especially on alts, but there’s a trap on the other side - if you size so small that the position means nothing to you, you stop managing it properly.
Worse, I’ve seen traders overcorrect by taking on way more positions to compensate for the lack of impact. Now you’ve got a bloated book and the same problem, just spread thinner.
