Well tonight’s rant is over…thank goodness some might say, when you see someone not smiling or engaging that normally would- please don’t judge them, see if they are ok because they might just appreciate that kind gesture… loneliness is the pits.
Yes there are options and some we have tried others investigate throughly but to no avail. What’s really unfair is that unless a miracle happens our journey to parenthood is over. Which makes me so incredibly sad. Grieving what we never had.
As I sit here tweeting on Mother’s Day of which I am not… as a Nanny by profession some describe as “rent a mum” I as a women am so fucked off at TC as it has not only created havoc for the past 5 yrs but also I am childless with little hope of changing it.
A battle that will never be won, exhaustion, low mood, grumpy, sensitive, emotional or not emotional at all. The list is rather endless & for the most part it’s a walking on egg shell situation.
When your loved one first gets the diagnosis of testicular cancer which luckily some would say was fairly early stages but as we know cancer affects people so differently. The after effects are what are worse in this case. A constant battle of emotions.
Testosterone doesn’t just regulate your sexual drive… oh no… from your mood to your temperature it has a role in most things. PMT is no joke as us gals know, nor is lack of testosterone for the men. It causes all sorts of problems.
So here goes… cancer is fucking shit in whatever form this we all know. What happens when the all clear comes… well in my case the battle of testosterone. There is none for my husband, it all comes in a vile from a pig I believe?! Don’t quote me.
