If you follow my account, you may have ended up with the mistaken impression that electronic voting systems are secure. That’s actually just an unfortunate side effect of having to push back on the completely nonsensical claims that have been embraced by the Big Lie crowds
CISA alerts election officials to vulnerabilities in Dominion voting systems used in 16 states that hackers could exploit. It recommends that Dominion’s ballot-marking devices stop using bar codes. The alert is based on a report by ⁦@jhalderm⁩ apnews.com/article/a746b253f…

Can he say that❓❓❓ Dr. @philipbstark shows leadership and courage to say what many of his fellow Dems cannot bear to hear. We ALL need to heed the warnings that GA's voting system is OUT OF CONTROL, and cannot be relied on for accurate 2022 elections. Report link below.

I'll be watching, @JasmineForHD108! She led the fight in the House to block Dominion BMD machines from being approved in HB316 in 2019. But GOP had the votes to approve the untrustworthy $150 million purchase. GOP buyers' remorse ? Jasmine's a voice to listen to!

I think electronic banking is the biggest source of e-voting false equivalencies.

I need to resist the urge not to full-on twitter rant about internet voting, so I'll just say this: We *just* had a near-coup that was prevented (in part) due to a move away from electronic-only voting. The cognitive dissonance from folks that should know better is frustrating.

Today has been a stark reminder that, as much as we’d like to have a cypherpunk future wherein egalitarian code limits overreach, without the rule of law we’re pretty much hosed.
Translation: "E-voting data is anomalous. Number of ballots distributed to voters is greatly at odds with the number of returned ballots." [I.e. returned > sent out.] Commentary: Gov't employees in Moscow are forced to "e-vote." Gov't can both see their votes and change them.
Update: we have an even baker's dozen in the main program: public.tableau.com/views/Geo…
