I had my AI agent keep an eye on a mystery pending charge on my credit card from a hotel I stayed at.
Once it posted, the agent automatically emailed the hotel asking for an explanation and a copy of my folio.
The hotel replied with a PDF. Turns out it was a parking charge.
Life is amazing right now.
(And yes, I've instructed my AI agent to always identify itself in emails so the humans know they're talking to AI. :)
At $2,000, the price of the iPhone Duo might make you do a double take. And so will the two screens. ktla.com/news/apples-2000-fo…
Interesting insight from @andruyeung's newsletter today...
9. Proprietary company data is becoming an asset class. I kept hearing about companies realizing that years of internal Slack conversations, support tickets, workflows, and other proprietary data are suddenly valuable to AI companies and data labelers. I heard of deals starting around $500K. For years, a lot of this information was basically useless. Now people are asking: what could someone train a model on that only we have?

Zelle is more of a threat to the average persons bank account than an AI Agent moving their money around.

I’m just going to say the hard part out loud:
Apple has accomplished more in getting developers to optimize their apps for the iPhone Duo before it even launched than Android has managed in seven years of foldables.
Need a ride to vote? Lime is offering TWO FREE 30-minute e-bike or scooter rides to help Californians get to and from polling places or ballot drop boxes.
Use code VOTE26 in the Lime app from Oct. 24 through Election Day, Nov. 3.
Available in LA, SF, Sacramento
Not sure why Amazon makes it so hard to find my pending returns on its website and app these days... but here's a direct link that takes you right to them.

Apple’s Smart Take feature on the iPhone Duo needs some work. My camera roll is littered with photos that look like this...
Apple REALLY needs to let you trigger a selfie by showing your palm to the camera. Or take a page from LG’s playbook a decade ago and let you shout “WHISKEY!” to snap a photo.
What does Android have to do to get developers to update their apps with better features faster? For instance, ChatGPT already updated its iOS app with widgets and even shortcuts for its new Dots feature. On Android, it’s stalled at a basic widget from the launch of the app.

I've spent a week with Apple's first foldable iPhone, and my verdict on the iPhone Duo? It grows on you.
Having a tablet in your pocket is fantastic, but there are compromises, especially for $2,000.
