Hahahahahha. He could wield that stick just like him! I was lucky enough to meet Sparky at an Oakland Seals game when I was 8. He drew #Snoopy for me. Still have it!!!

HONORING MOM: Islanders star Matthew Schaefer opens up about a new room named for his late mother, Jennifer, where children can find comfort and support while a parent undergoes cancer treatment at Northwell’s R.J. Zuckerberg Cancer Center.
Jarome Iginla has revealed to @EricFrancis that he has been dealing with neurological issues and complications affecting his energy, weight and speech.
It's suspected that the complications may be related to metal toxins entering his bloodstream from his artificial hip implant.
While he doesn't have all the answers yet and there is still an uphill battle ahead of him, Iginla says things are slowly improving, thankfully 🙏 ❤️
I’ve always looked at the original uniform-which is what they wear now represented the formative or early years @mach25music. To really get serious about a championship caliber team, they need to dress like it! Time to swap the orange and white stripes!
Exactly @mach25music!
yes 100%.. I think talking about this is part of the process, and its should always be respectful. In the end, we have the NY Islanders @NYIslanders in our DNA
Simply the best @hockey_vintage!
19 years ago today ON THIS DAY in hockey history (November 3, 2007):
Al Arbour comes out of retirement to coach one final game with the @NYIslanders to reach 1500 NHL games coached, with the @NYIslanders beating the Penguins 3-2 for his 782nd and final career win

19 years ago tonight, the #Isles honored the great Al Arbour by signing the legend to a one-game contract to coach his 1,500th game with the organization.
Miroslav Satan also made sure he picked up his 740th win, scoring a pair in the 3rd to complete the comeback.

Absolutely @ArthurTorrey1!!!!
You don’t get better than this @stefen_rosner!
“You have a vision of just wanting to do something for the kids. We always wanted something like this to help kids and families...and we’ve always wanted to give back."

Respect @SoLuBroadcasts. I agree!
The entire get up doesn’t look bad we’ve had worse. It is what it is. Not as good as a logo drawn on a napkin at a local dinner but I’m afraid if I complain I sound old lol
Plus honestly I don’t hate it.

I agree. That war was fought and won 30 years ago. Like you say, bigger fish to fry now. 😎
Some clearly like it @IFANnetwork25. In the grand scheme it's not the end of the world...there are bigger fish to fry 🤣

Super Sky Point to Jerry Koosman, who won 17 games with a 2.28 ERA for the 1969 Miracle Mets. Kooz went on to win 222 games over 19 years in the big leagues. He was a better pitcher than some guys in the HOF and if you want his rookie card? You’ll be digging deep in your wallet. #RIP
