All drugs are deadly - alcohol, nicotine, paracetamol, Valium, et al if taken in overdose or incorrectly. If MDMA was regulated as the other drugs I list here are it would be a lot less deadly. Pill testing would save lives. Prohibition does not work.

Despite the depressing responses by some men and, tragically, some women in this debate about how unsafe women feel, I want to give a shout out to the many men who have listened and responded supportively and particularly those who have taken up intellectual cudgels on our behalf

I know that it shouldn’t need to be said but apparently it does. Masculinity is not toxic. Human beings are not toxic. Banks are not toxic. Unions are not toxic. However, there is toxic masculinity, and there are toxic humans, toxic banks, unions etc

I am horrified watching women’s stories of harassment being appropriated by men (and corporations) and then used as weapons against other male opponents and competitors. The abuse is magnified & the powerlessness of women emphasised.
