If only DJT wasn't so soft. Who would drop the hammer of consequence if they were in power? Is there anyone that can or should be forced to be clothed in power by the right? Some noble upstart ?
We need better fiction. Also the right needs better presidents and senators than the crop we have had for last several decades.
The Jedi actually deserved to go extinct. Their entire ideology is inherently antithetical to life itself.
You’re not allowed to have attachments, show emotion, love anyone, be passionate about anything, or embody really any of the qualities that make a sentient living being a sentient living being.
Anything that’s life giving is attacked for being associated with the Sith, who would otherwise be completely correct about everything if it weren’t for their over the top cruelty and cartoonish villainy.
The entire core tenets of the Jedi Order almost perfectly match the late-stage liberal fantasy of a world where existential divisions are all papered over and everyone and everything is forcibly dissolved into a universalist soup managed by a supposedly apolitical priestly caste who wield absolute power while lying through their teeth about how they’re just defenders of democracy.
And like all Liberal orders, the Jedi are so dogmatically committed to the false promise of universalism, neutrality, proceduralism, and “balance” (aka not taking your own side) that they can’t see any existential threats until it is far too late.

5L of milk a day. Best poops of my life every single morning. Done under 5 minutes, ghost wipe every time, no straining. Milk is life.
Severe constipation has been reversed with naloxone, the drug paramedics carry to reverse an opioid overdose.
Why would an overdose drug get the bowels moving? Because a food many of us eat every single day contains an opioid-like compound that slows the gut.
That food is dairy. And in a trial of constipated children, removing it helped 71% within 4 weeks.
Dairy is just the start. Here's what they never tell you about constipation: 🧵
I like this take
I love prequel memes. And I’ve been enjoying the sort of Zoomer take on the Star Wars prequels floating around X for the last couple of days.
A lot of these takes hinge on the idea of Anakin as representative of the white male experience in a progressive culture, where the good guys are actually the bad guys, and the bad guys are the good guys. And there is a good deal of truth to that.
But I think there’s something important being overlooked, something that is central to how I read the story.
I see the first six Star Wars movies as essentially being about fatherhood.
Anakin has no father. He comes from a single-parent home. Qui-Gon Jinn takes an interest in Anakin as a person. He is a benevolent fatherly presence who advocates for Anakin, sees his potential, and wants to protect and guide him. And part of that protection is even from the Jedi Order itself, since Qui-Gon disagrees with some of its ways.
The great tragedy of that first movie is that Qui-Gon, Anakin’s only true father figure, dies. Anakin is left to be raised by a cold Jedi Order and Obi-Wan Kenobi, who functions more like an older brother. Obi-Wan loves Anakin, but he is no father.
Without fatherly guidance and protection, Anakin struggles to enter the world of men and is used by two sides: a cold, detached Jedi Order and a manipulative false father in Palpatine.
And just as Anakin becomes the one thing he never had, a father, he loses much of his humanity, his wife, and his family.
That is the central tragedy of the prequels.
Now consider the original trilogy.
You have a son who is raised by a father figure in Uncle Owen and eventually finds himself under the care of a much older and more fatherly Obi-Wan. So, Luke was actually fathered, unlike Anakin. The series slowly turns into Luke’s quest to see his father redeemed.
In the end, Luke is unwilling to kill his father. And Anakin finds his redemption by killing his own false father to rescue his son.
That is the triumph of the original trilogy: a son pulling his father back from the darkness by becoming the man his father once desired to be.
And that father, even at the very end of his life, being awakened and doing what it takes to give his son a future.
That’s how I read Star Wars.
The tragedy of fatherlessness, and the triumph of sonship and fatherhood.
Ive heard Ashville is a witchcraft hub as well
Just someone casually doing witchcraft at Runyon Canyon Park in Los Angeles, California
This is a popular park full of hiking trails, and apparently now witchcraft….
You can actually see people on the trail above hiking. It’s wild people feel comfortable enough to do this out in the open now in America
Wages need to go up. Company profits need to go down. If stock market crashes so be it. Housing needs to be deregulated and residential land needs to have no square foot minimums. Abolish taxes. If government crashes. So be it.
Everyone is furious at the prankster.
They are missing the real tragedy.
Man A wakes up at 5 AM, works 10 stores,
and misses his 4 kids' bedtime—
yet still can’t afford his mortgage.
Boy B produces nothing, mocks working men
with a phone, and makes thousands in clout.
The problem isn't a pizza company.
It’s a broken system that punishes the Builder
and rewards the Parasite.
When a father’s sweat buys less than
a clown’s disrespect, a nation loses its soul.
Restore the dignity of honest work.

Had you heard of milk sickness?
