Up to a point in time that project remains MIT fork it from there and continue without them.

Just a hunch. My gut feel.. ram is expensive, data centres / ai companies are looking for cost savings, nvme is fast, new technology / algorithms / discoveries made with smarter AI could enable a new engine that runs off disk. If and when, the race to accumulate nvme starts.

Imagine. let's see how this ages.

these m1 Macs... was on battery for two days got like 7 hours a day.. instead of 1-2 days Thought 'oh that's weird' plot twist, had a rogue intel process using 99% cpu the whole time... couldn't even tell, no heavy fan noise, excessive heat or 'the usual indicators'
