IBM in 1979:
Claude Code wiped our production database with a Terraform command.
It took down the DataTalksClub course platform and 2.5 years of submissions: homework, projects, and leaderboards.
Automated snapshots were gone too.
In the newsletter, I wrote the full timeline + what I changed so this doesn't happen again.
If you use Terraform (or let agents touch infra), this is a good story for you to read.

🚨 CRITICAL - Unauthenticated RCE in React Server Components (GHSA-xqc2-xf4c-x3h3)
A critical vulnerability in React Server Components packages (react-server-dom-webpack, react-server-dom-turbopack, react-server-dom-parcel) allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted RSC Flight payload responses transporting multiple typed arrays and attacker-controlled values.
👉 Affected: Versions 19.0.0–19.0.8, 19.1.0–19.1.9, 19.2.0–19.2.8, 19.3.0 | Upgrade immediately to 19.0.9, 19.1.10, 19.2.9, or 19.3.1 (or Next.js 16.4.1 / 15.5.28)

By refusing to charge the armed maniac who attacked Dave Chappelle on stage, George Gascon is sending a clear message that public acts of political violence are justifiable—and even encouraged—against anyone who dares speak out against The Regime.
It’s Sinister & Un-American.

The only time I’d do a GoFundMe is if I was 6 feet under and could no longer provide for my family.
To ask for charity of others when you have the means (via wealth/employment) is gauche at best.

Yet to be validated, but this is exactly what I expect from AI and cryptanalysis. It will likely improve algorithms (possibly requiring larger keys), but not break assumptions entirely. In some cases it could, but in my opinion unlikely for our main established assumptions.

Freaking hell this is rapid.
Ran it against agent-browser by Vercel (arguably the best browser tool on the market)
- 40% faster
- 81% less input tokens
- 33% fewer steps
- 50% less tokens (not counting cache reads)
- Zero external API used

Can’t believe I made it all the way out to @bitcoinconfams to do 5 panels just to be fired from the main stage.
Great conference, thank you for having me!

Crypto is being massively stolen from users of various crypto wallets through… 18+ websites - victims have already lost $5,570,000 due to a vulnerability in iOS 18.
It’s all because of the DarkSword vulnerability: just open an infected website via Safari and malicious code is already running on your smartphone - passwords, messages, photos, and crypto wallet files (including private keys) are under attack.
Update iOS to the latest version as soon as possible. And never ever store photos of your seed phrase in the gallery or write it in Notes!

everyone I know that is actually putting compute in the ground tells me the following:
- credit is very much available, LTVs have dipped for some but there is no "credit freeze".
- no concerns whatsoever about offtake demand. as robust as it has ever has been.
- not particularly concerned about the politics. can work around moratoria. believe incentives will prevail and cities and states won't walk away from billions in tax $. there will always be pockets of power available.
