Airbnb donated $1.5M to reelect Bass. In return they expect Karen to get them deregulated before the Olympics (will remove affordable units from the market and turn them into short term hotels). This will drive up rent prices.
Bass is selling you out. She’s making it worse.
The rent is too damn high! That’s why I signed ED1 right when I got into office, to speed up affordable housing.

The Clippers punishment shows the value of journalism if it’s done properly. There’s no chance this story ever would have come to light if @PabloTorre hadn’t investigated it. It’s something the world needs more of instead of whatever the media typically is now.

The biggest story out of the whole Clippers debacle is that ESPN is basically confirmed to just be an outlet for team owner propaganda in-between gambling ads and Pat McAfee clips.
It’s been obvious for a while, but I don’t see how you could even argue against it now.
