Progress Update: 60 Miles in November, from the 1st to the 30th for Young Lives vs Cancer @YLvsCancer
Apologies for the shaky clip; it is cold!
I am on Day 5 of 30. I have already walked 36 miles, more than halfway to my 60-mile target.
Even though I have exceeded my fundraising target, I want to keep going. For example, every £18 raised can power a Home from Home for a day, ensuring families have the light and comfort they need.
I appreciate the donations and shares - thank you.

Trigger WARNING: Cancer, Death and Grief.
Even having been a published Author (of Poetry), I struggle to find the words to describe the ordeal of a cancer journey - from diagnosis and treatment to how life-changing it is going forward.
I have lost an older brother to Cancer, a Sister-in-law, and my older Sister to cancer. My Mother (Ma) was diagnosed with Stage 4a SCC in 2022. Ma is my HERO; she managed to “Kick Cancer's Ass” out of the stadium. My beautiful young niece was recently diagnosed with Cancer; she showed courage and valour in her journey.
I am honoured to be fundraising for @YLvsCancer. Their work feels like a calling from above. Their work allows children and young people with cancer the vital support they need to thrive.

Half of England is in drought after record-breaking heatwaves, yet most of our media want to talk about the "problem" of refugees whilst giving airtime to absurd & dehumanising policies from Reform UK.
Politicians who scapegoat refugees and migrants have no interest in making your life better.
If they really cared, they would take on corporations holding this country to ransom.
They would end the daylight robbery of privatisation.
And they would tackle the real cause of society's problems: a grotesquely unequal economy that sucks wealth away from the majority to an elite few.
