The media says these bills are “crashing into political reality.”
No. They’re crashing into political cowardice.
These bills passed the House.
They have strong public support.
They reflect exactly what Idaho voters keep demanding.
What’s stopping them?
• Senate leadership refusing hearings
• Lobby pressure
• Special interests protecting cheap labor
• A lack of leadership from our Governor
That’s not “reality.” That’s a choice.
Idaho is deep red. If we can’t pass basic immigration enforcement here, it’s not because voters don’t want it. It’s because politicians won’t act.
Give the bills a hearing.
Let them get a vote.

The campaign finance filings above show his PAC donating to legislators involved in these bills.
Perhaps the Pro Tem can clarify how that fits with the claim that the process is purely procedural.

We have a whole pile of bills dealing with illegal immigration sitting right now in the Idaho Senate...
Some are crawling through the house. And a handful actually made it through and landed on Kelly Anthon’s desk.
This is THE DEFINING ISSUE of our day. In America, and in Idaho. It’s not a “fed” problem - it’s ours. Because illegal immigration hits our bank accounts, floods our cities, tanks our safety, kills jobs, overwhelms schools, and guts the economy and way of life we’re trying to protect for our kids.
