Great time at Remix attending workshops by improv legends Pippa Evans, Katy Schutte, Will Naameh, Chris Grace and @josielawrence1 Particularly special to meet Josie and improvise for her, I’ve lovely memories of watching Whose Line with my mom. Big part of me getting into improv.

Hook me up permanently to @ww2wtg with @James1940 @almurray I’m loving the videos and learning a lot from them. I’ve never been to Normandy or Arnhem but would like to, which you recommended for a first trip?

12 string guitars, any recommendations? Or, long shot, anyone got one I could borrow for some writing and recording? 👀

I've loved bringing art to the streets of Birmingham this summer. What do you want to see exhibited next? Which people and stories need celebrating?

2 years, 26 shows. Our first gig was on the 29th of July 2022. Just want to say a big thank you to all the performers, audiences and venues that have been part of the story in that time. More to come!

I avoid having a phone call conversation on a bus or train as I would avoid gout, and can’t understand why anyone would choose to talk on the phone in such a situation. Even more astonishing is people who video call on public transport… are we all supposed to join in and wave??
one of the most british opinion pieces you will ever read in a newspaper (naturally the comment section is united with me): i wrote about deciding to tell people playing content on their phone out loud on public transport to put their headphones in theguardian.com/commentisfre…

Absolute honour to be elected as the Member of Parliament for my home, marginal constituency of Wolverhampton West, with a majority of nearly 8,000. So grateful, and humbled by the trust that people have put in me, whom I will serve with integrity, determination and commitment. – at Wolverhampton, England

If you fancy a giggle on election day listen to Count Binface’s podcast Trash Talk, the latest episode features a conversation with Ian Hislop which made me laugh this morning.

Excited to see that exit poll tonight! I say that mainly as an interested observer of politics and history. But also because I hope to see the conservatives walloped after 14 years and 5 PMs, 4 of whom had to resign in failure/disgrace and 1 who isn’t very good at politics.
