OMG OMG OMG OMG! @SirPatStew @startrekcbs Thank you so much for this. I’m totally overwhelmed.
"That just made me cry." @SirPatStew, @JeriLRyan, @BrentSpiner, and @JonathanDelArco read real fan reactions to the #StarTrekPicard trailer. Watch it to find out if they read your tweet. #SDCC #StarTrekSDCC

Many apps on iPhone Duo are broken right now and it requires real work to get right. When we first got the @MSFTCopilot app running on Duo, so much was in a broken state. We had too much “if iPad” in our layout code instead of adapting to size classes and the space available. iPhone Duo has a lot of postures. Fully open, rotated, the little front screen, partially open, the front screen rotated...we kept finding new ones we didn't anticipate, and every one needed its own fixes, layouts, and design decisions. Good luck designing this by hand in Figma...way better to flip it around in the sim and design it right in code. All of the AI apps have converged on a sidepanel to show the list of conversations behind a burger menu that slides in from the left. But on the iPhone Duo front screen, the tab bar and the navbar controls sit vertically on the right. Just moving the existing burger icon to the right doesn't make that interaction intuitive. So we dropped the burger icon on Duo. There's now a chevron on the right (which is common across the OS). This is great because it's so natural to hit the back button with your right thumb. Tap it and you get a full page view with all your conversations and everything else that would've been in a peak view side panel. Then you open up the device and it all just carries over with smooth continuity. Using the native split view allows side panels to be open by default on the big screen. This is where productivity feels awesome. Kick off real work with Cowork, check on running tasks, or build full apps on the new Copilot Code (coming soon). It's rare to get a new iPhone form factor to experiment and express yourself with. Software feels fun again on Duo.

Here are some facts that most voters don’t remember or never knew. The Obama administration spent TWICE as much money on the Obamacare websites (THAT DIDN’T WORK) than what the White House Ballroom costs. Unlike the Ballroom, the websites were fully funded by taxpayers. 🤪

I think it’s HILARIOUS that they made @TheRock look like @vindiesel in this @DisneyPlus live action Moana poster.

Things my @Tesla FSD doesn’t know how to handle: the @ByronDonalds bus tour motorcade 😂 Thought I was getting pulled over by the cop in front. Nope, just our next Governor trying to get over to get on the freeway. Sorry, man! Good luck on the stump! 🫡

Announcing 3 Critical vulns for hundreds of millions of IoT, Firewalls, OT, and Military devices including: Palo Alto Networks, Comcast, D-Link, HP, Canon, Honeywell, GE, Oracle, Siemens, Rockwell, Digi, Lockheed Martin, Boeing... The vulns are with GoAhead Web Server which is a backend library used by these devices. There's a patch available from GoAhead but that doesn't mean there's a patch available for the devices yet -- that's up to the manufacturer. - TLS traffic over DHE ciphers have a 1-byte secret, "04", meaning anyone can decrypt connections to these devices and steal login credentials and session tokens if the client negotiated with DHE ciphers like the latest TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256, which is extremely likely. - LibreSSL mTLS has been completely bypassed, meaning anyone can connect over mTLS. If you have one of these devices listening on the internet and are expecting mTLS to protect it from attackers, take it offline or patch asap. - OpenSSL Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) are not enforced, meaning if a user device is stolen or compromised, and you revoke that mTLS cert, nothing actually happens. There are a lot of other attacks this can be used for. These are critical because these types of devices run our world. Water systems, electricity, military, firewalls, critical infrastructure. foxio.io/blog/choose-your-ba…

I got in an argument with Grok Build tonight about architecture & its habit of just starting to build things before it even thought about what the design should look like. I finally had to tell it “if you’re building a house, the plumber you hire can’t take a shit until you figure out where the toilets go." Now it has FULLY COMMITTED to the plumbing metaphor in every response and I can’t tell if that is because the metaphor made sense or because I pissed it off and now it’s fucking with me. See if you can guess what I'm building.

This box of Maine absentee ballot return envelopes was shipped to a residential house in Maryland. The house happens to be the listed HQ for a Soros-funded electioneering non-profit. Maine's AG closed the investigation with no answers as to how it happened...
NEW: Maine closed the missing ballot envelope case without answers - records show. A detective recovered 498 blank absentee envelopes sent to a Soros-funded NGO in Maryland. UPS said it would need a subpoena; the AG's office determined there wasn't enough information to issue one. The case is closed. That's how seriously Maine takes election integrity...

HORRIFYING: New footage shows Boko Haram Islamic jihadists in Africa massacring Christians with machetes. This year alone, more Christians have been killed in Nigeria than Palestinians in 3 years of war. Don’t stop talking about the real genocide of Christians in Nigeria.

Yeah I’m going to vote for these assholes because Iran needed to pay for slaughtering 100k of its citizens so now gas is a little more expensive.
New low for normalized Jew-hate in the American Democratic Party. Very sad: Painting your political opponents as puppets of Jews, as this El-Sayed ad does, and as crazed baby-killers and money-grubbing villains who are the root cause of every bad thing not just in the world, but in your life—from wars to the price of eggs to the reason you can’t have free healthcare—is not just low-grade Jew-hate. It’s pure Third Reich stuff, translated directly from the original German. Do you remember when Jewish Democrats in Michigan explained that they would vote for El-Sayed despite his open disdain for Jews, since there are many other important issues they need him to fight for? That anything was worth it to “defeat MAGA”? Well, here’s El-Sayed’s answer to them: Don’t worry, all those issues we agree on, like healthcare, inflation, and climate change, I’m going to make them about Jews too! I will tell the public that the Jews are the reason they can’t have those things.
