Soldier Oleg Golubenets, callsign Historian, died on November 11, 2023 in Donetsk region. The defender would have turned 32 the next day.
Oleg is from Mykolayiv Oblast. He worked as a history teacher in the village of Kryve Ozero Druge, later moved to Irpin, Kyiv region.
He worked at the capital's driving school as an instructor and teacher of theory. He was interested in military history, military equipment, aviation, cars.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man fought in the ranks of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"It would seem that there is nothing in the world that Oleg does not know about. He was an educated, intelligent and interesting person. The environment always admired him. When I asked if something hurt him, he always said: "For Ukraine," said his wife Kateryna.
The defender is survived by his parents, wife and sister.

Overnight, russia attacked Ukraine with more than 60 Shahed UAVs and almost 90 missiles of various types.
The main targets for russian terrorists are energy facilities, including Ukraine's largest hydroelectric power plant, and apartment buildings.
Ukraine needs more air defense systems to protect our people and infrastructure from missile attacks. The world needs to defeat russian evil.
