URGENT CALL TO ACTION IN SUPPORT OF INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIANS There comes a time when silence is betrayal. Jilya founder, psychologist & Nyamal woman, Dr Tracy Westerman AM says: “leadership means you take a stand for others more than you take for yourself”. This is THAT moment, Will you join us? All you need to do is sign this petition, the focus of which is to repudiate the rhetoric and leadership of Senator Jacinta Price. Generated by the Westerman Jilya Institute for Indigenous Mental Health, we hope that you will stand in solidarity with Indigenous people to ensure the protection of our future health and wellbeing. We are hoping to receive an overwhelming and united response, sending a clear message that Indigenous Australians deserve strong leadership to address generations of government failures. We encourage you to sign this petition, and please share across all of your networks! We want to send a clear message in the lead up to the election this Saturday! change.org/p/urgent-call-to-…

It’s so sad that it’s come to this, but we deserve so much better and it’s time we started challenging those at the top to do better! #HerGameToo

Really been enjoying seeing the Afghan men get to experience cricket the way Afghan women experience it: not being able to play.

Facebook scraping Australian adults photos to train AI. Not surprising. It's legal, because the government won't update our privacy laws. #auspol abc.net.au/news/2024-09-11/f…

****BREAKING**** Unbelievably, the @MelbSymphony are foolishly escalating their case against @jaysongillham They have engaged the same legal firm representing the Australian Zionist Foundation in a case against me, rather than coming to an agreement with Jayson. This keeps the issue very much alive. Read his statement below. Hats off to Jayson for his courage. He is an inspiration for us all in the battle against the juggernaut hurled at free speech amid fear, cowardice, indifference and inhumanity. It will only be stopped by a critical mass. ** Please share widely** samuelcairnduff.blogspot.com…

Nail on head here. American "culture" has destroyed British culture to the point you could get one thousand 18- 40 year old Britons together who couldn't name 10 British traditions or cultural norms but could parrot any number of American words, pop culture and habits. That's who destroyed British culture. If you don't believe it, go anywhere in Europe today and see what local cultural events, unique to that culture are taking place through summer.

Ash Sarkar breaks down the real reason British culture is crumbling. Hint: it’s got nothing to do with immigration.

Ensuring that a team competing in one of their events is properly equipped, is the sort of thing a multi-billion dollar world governing body should be funding. Instead, they firehose the majority of their revenues, without oversight, into the accounts of the wealthiest boards.

GoFundMe for the Vanuatu women's team, who will be taking part in the upcoming T20 World Cup Qualifier. Please support if you can. gofundme.com/f/empower-vanua…
The Holiday Inn Vanuatu's National women's cricket team (Vanuavavine) has made history by securing a spot in the Global Qualifier for the T20 World Cup, a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent. As they prepare to represent Vanuatu on the international stage, they require support to ensure they have the necessary equipment to compete at their best. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to purchase brand new cricket equipment for our girls, empowering them to shine brightly in the upcoming Global Qualifier.

This is a dark day for our sport, to exclude people because of who they are. And using women as cover to do it. Trans rights are human rights. Trans people deserve to feel included in a sport that they love. We failed as a sport. #TransRightsAreHumanRights

If this story had been about six men would the headline have read “political masterstroke” instead of “fairytale”?
