I do hope Scottish programming will feature more in the BBC One schedules, as there are some great comedies and documentaries on BBC Scotland. It’s worth noting this channel is only on air a few hours every evening with simulcasts of BBC Radio Scotland throughout the day.

It’s official. We now have our first named storm of the 2026/27 season. #StormAusten has been announced today by @metoffice and will bring damaging gusts of 60-70 mph along Southern counties and will heavily disrupt Channel crossings from Kent. Stay tuned for more as we get it!

But cant really get more certain than the 3 top models now agreeing... almost identical now GFS ECM UKV on track. Models also showing gusts 80-100mph
