"Fans just want players to respect the club that they respect. It's not when a player leaves, it's how they leave that sometimes determines how fans remember them"
Britney Spears.
Rapist apologists have had enough of my time on here now. Going forward I'm not going to give you the time of day. I will block and move on but all I ask is you seek therapy.
Some recent gems from him. Not a surprise he’d want to doubt victims of rape and sexual assault (unless of course it furthers his own ends).
If X is a reflection of society it makes me sad. The amount of rapist apologist on here is off the chart. Unlike me te be dumbfounded but that's where we are at

🚨Joe O’Cearuill JJ Gabriel’s father on his conversation with Michael Carrick and Jason Wilcox over Manchester United’s contract offer:
🗣️ Joe O’Cearuill: “I had a very honest conversation with Michael Carrick and Jason Wilcox about JJ’s future, and I think some people at Manchester United will be angry when they hear why we said no.
But I’m his father before I’m anybody’s friend at a football club.
JJ is 16 years old.
We are not going to make a decision about his future because of the Manchester United badge alone.
I asked them one simple question.
‘Where exactly do you see JJ playing?’
There was a pause.
And that pause told me a lot.
I said, ‘You want him to stay, but you can’t give me a clear pathway. You can’t tell me when he becomes part of the first team.’
JJ doesn’t want to spend years being told he is one of the best young players at Manchester United while waiting for someone to decide when he is ready.
He wants responsibility.
He wants competition.
Most importantly, he wants a pathway.
The contract discussion became serious.
Our proposal was a £5 million signing package, with performance bonuses taking it beyond £8 million, alongside a clear development pathway.
We also wanted regular first-team training and a defined number of senior appearances once he reached the appropriate age.
Manchester United weren’t prepared to agree to those terms.
Real Madrid were.
And that changed everything for me.
I told Carrick, ‘This isn’t about who pays the most money. It’s about who is prepared to make a commitment to my son’s development.’
‘If you want him to stay, show us where he fits.’
‘Don’t tell me he has potential. Tell me what you’re going to do with it.’
Michael was respectful, but I understood there were limitations.
He has a squad to manage.
Jason has a club to manage.
But I have a 16-year-old whose next decision could shape the next ten years of his career.
Then Real Madrid came into the picture.
Their message was different.
They didn’t say, ‘Come here and wait.’
They said, ‘Come here and compete.’
They were prepared to meet the financial package, accept the bonuses and give us a much clearer pathway toward senior football.
That mattered enormously.
I told United, ‘If you cannot give him what another club is willing to give him, you cannot be surprised when he chooses the other club.’
This isn’t disrespect toward Manchester United.
But Manchester United cannot expect every talented young player to stay forever because of the history of the shirt.
History matters.
Ambition matters too.
JJ wants to play for the biggest clubs in the world.
And when Real Madrid tell my 16-year-old son they believe he can become one of their players, I have to take that seriously.
Some people will say he should have stayed.
Some will say he is too young.
Some United fans will be furious.
I understand that.
But I would rather people be angry with our decision today than JJ wake up at 20 and ask why I didn’t fight harder for his career.
We didn’t reject Manchester United because we don’t respect the club.
We rejected the proposal because we didn’t believe it was the best one for JJ.
Real Madrid showed more ambition.
They showed more clarity.
And they were willing to put their money behind their words.
JJ is only 16.
He has a lot to learn.
But he also has huge ambition.
I’m not going to apologize for protecting that.
Manchester United had the opportunity to convince us.
They didn’t.
Real Madrid did.
So now JJ is going to Madrid to compete.
Not to be Cristiano Ronaldo.
Not to be Jude Bellingham.
Not to be anybody else.
To become JJ Gabriel.
And if Manchester United fans are angry, I understand.
But my responsibility isn’t to make Manchester United fans happy.
My responsibility is to make sure my son gets the best opportunity to become the footballer he believes he can be.”

Evidence Russell Brand is a rapist who sexually assaulted women:
-Six women gave evidence against him in his criminal trial.
-Independent accounts from women who did not know one another.
-Testimony from more than 100 witnesses gathered during the police investigation.
-More than 400 witness statements taken.
-Witness testimony corroborating aspects of the women’s accounts, including contemporaneous disclosures.
-Text messages, medical records and other documentary evidence reported in the original journalistic investigation.
-Evidence of his own behaviour and admissions about exploiting his fame to facilitate sexual access to women.
Evidence Russell Brand was the victim of a politically orchestrated conspiracy to destroy him:
-Nothing.

I don't think Brand defenders actually realise how difficult it is to get a rape case to court let alone get a guilty verdict.
He did it.

It appears many don't like the Brand verdicts because of lack of 'real evidence', preferring instead to judge culpability based on one's opinion of covid vaccines.

Found guilty in a court of law, by a jury of his peers beyond a reasonable doubt. Is that not proof enough Charlie? Someone should check your hard drives…. Weirdo
I'm not shocked at the amount of rape apologists that have come out the woodwork since the Brand verdict.
I am shocked how many of them are women.
When you are aggressively defending a rapist I'm going to guess you are a short time away from being on the sex offenders list yourself.

Can’t believe people are still struggling to get to grips with what consent actually means in 2026 and the comments from women are actually fucking shocking, you can stop consenting DURING sex for multiple reasons or none at all. You can change your mind, feel uncomfortable

Thousands of people flooded my replies last week to insult me. They accused me of being part of a coordinated media conspiracy. They said the Russell Brand trial was a hit job by the establishment to silence an enlightened truth-teller.
Well, the truth is finally here. And it is devastating.
Russell Brand has just been found guilty of rape and three counts of sexual assault. He was denied bail and remanded straight into custody to spend the weekend in a prison cell before his sentencing.
For the last three years, he weaponized alternative media to build a shield around himself. He branded himself a persecuted guru, got baptized on camera, and convinced millions of followers that the deep state was coming for him because he dared to speak the truth.
He didn’t just lie to the public. He used his online audience as a human shield to avoid taking responsibility for the women whose lives he destroyed.
Look at what he was actually found guilty of. Sexually assaulting women he cornered in bars and studios. Anally raping a woman in his own home while ignoring her begging him to stop.
This wasn’t an edgy comedian who crossed a line with a joke. This was a ruthless, manipulative predator who used staggering fame to isolate women and treat them like disposable commodities.
And look at the British media executives who enabled him. The television channels and radio stations that made millions off his "cheeky" public persona knew exactly how he operated.
They watched him target young staff and guests, laughed it off as celebrity eccentricities, and kept handing him prime-time contracts. They are just as complicit as he is.
But the real heroes today are the six women who stood in that courtroom. They did not know each other. They had nothing to gain financially.
They endured years of online harassment, death threats, and public smearing from Brand’s fanatic supporters, all so they could stand in a witness box and finally force him to face the reality of what he did to them.
The spiritual guru act is over, Russell. The conspiracy theories are dead. Today, Russell Brand is exactly what he always was: a convicted rapist sitting in a prison van.
I bet you thought Jimmy Saville was innocent also.
He was tried but a jury who heard the evidence and found him guilty.
A wife is without her husband. Three children are without their Dad. Yet everyone thinks the real victim in this, is a drunk groupie, who was cheating on her boyfriend. Someone who has anonymity for life and will probably get a financial payout.
I don’t care what anyone calls me. I have a unique perspective on this as someone who had a romantic encounter with Russell in the naughties and then collaborated with him on a political campaign in 2014.
If this drunk groupie thought he was a predator, why would she stand by and watch him sleep with 1000s more women. Didn’t she care about those women?
It’s not true that women in the comedy industry warned each other about Russell. No-one warned me and it could not have been more obvious that I was connected to him.
Just because I am a woman, doesn’t mean I should "believe all women."
I would be more likely to believe women who report criminals to the POLICE. Not the media, decades later.
I believe in the right to a fair trial. Convince me it was fair!
