The Fed’s have offered to help….so where the HELL is Danielle Smith?
She’s TOO busy campaigning today!
Danielle Smith is Untrustworthy.

One critique by the UCP of Alberta’s carbon tax was that it was not campaigned on. The Alberta Pension Plan is several orders of magnitude more significant a policy move. If it’s not part of the campaign, I’m puzzled how they would revisit it afterwards.
Smith said things like the pension plan and replacing the RCMP can be revisited after the election.

Calgary paying $538m for a new arena. Some politicians say there’s no taxpayer cost. That’s misleading. Public money not free + has other uses.
At 5%, the flow value of the subsidy is like a permanent 2.4% increase in res PTax ($88/yr for median res). That’s how I think about it

“From the Buddhist perspective, life and death are two phases of a continuum. Life does not begin at birth nor end at death. Everything in the universe—from invisible microbes in the air we breathe to great swirling galaxies—passes through these phases. Our individual lives are part of this great cosmic rhythm.
Everything in the universe, everything that happens, is part of a vast living web of interconnection. The vibrant energy we call life which flows throughout the universe has no beginning and no end. Life is a continuous, dynamic process of change.” - sokaglobal.org
