Every chain that grew into something big followed the same pattern, more assets gave people reasons to show up, activity kept them around, and liquidity made everything feel alive. XRPL already has the speed and the fees to follow that pattern, what it needs now is more to do onchain, because that’s what makes people from other chains curious enough to come and look. Active users go where things move, they want charts that wake up at 3am, communities that make the timeline fun to scroll and markets deep enough to jump in without thinking twice. Memes and NFTs play a bigger role in that than most people admit, not because of the tokens themselves but because they create culture, inside jokes and a sense of belonging that keeps people coming back every day. That kind of energy is what turns a chain from infrastructure into a place, and places are where serious builders and tokenized assets eventually want to be. The XRP community is one of the loudest and most loyal in crypto, and the more it has to trade, collect and rally around onchain, the more that loyalty turns into real activity on the ledger. I’ve been thinking a lot about what it takes to make XRPL the kind of chain people choose to spend time on, not just the one they respect.
