6 Signs of a Connected Team
1. Quick huddles on dead balls
2. Sprinting to help a teammate off the floor
3. Eye contact during timeouts
4. Excitement when a teammate makes a play
5. High fives and back slaps
6. Bench stands when someone comes out of the game/takes a charge

There are two kinds of teams. Those who talk about the problem and those who talk about the solution.
Only one of those moves forward.

#mshsl board has approved all three winter/spring calendar models. If state shutdown is not extended, winter sports will start practice Dec. 21. If shutdown is extended, start date will be either Jan. 4 or Jan. 18. Lots of details remain, including postseason format/dates.
Lots of good discussion by #mshsl board members about what's best for students re holidays, gatherings, practices, games, mental health, support, safety, health.

If you get the chance to step on the field with your teammates this fall, don’t waste a second on what’s missing or what won’t be. Give all your focus to what’s in front of you and hold on tight. Now more than ever we all know the incredible gift having any little piece of it is❤️

We are currently living in the age of individualization. Players have never been more talented.
Yet, the GOATs of sport that everyone is trying to be- Jordan, Brady, Kobe, Jeter- were all about the team.
Let that sink in.
Maybe that had something to do with them becoming 🐐?

Most inventive #BeTheLightMN award tonight goes to Brooklyn Center High School. Well done.
Stadium lights at Brooklyn Center High School don’t work, but with a little creativity and a big order of solar lights from @HomeDepot we are able to show support for the BC Community. A special shout-out to the Senior Class of Centaurs.
