The biggest lesson is that when Republicans stay close to our policies of economic freedom, lower taxes, and smaller government, we win. We need to return to that, stop the distractions, and get back to work for the American people.

Renaming buildings, gulfs, and lakes can be funny but what’s not funny is that the Trump administration’s tariffs policies could cost Republicans this November

It’s actually free market policies that would incentivize the increase of supply of goods and services to the market in the crucial areas of housing, healthcare, education, among others. But these are precisely the areas where government has intervened the most with predictable distorted results in prices.
Vance has no desire to lead the next supply side revolution in these areas, but instead wishes to theorize the ancient mercantilism of postliberal ideology.
What conservatism and America needs is the freedom of initiative and work to be rewarded with a government that doesn’t penalize or constrain it.
🎯 @JDVance nails it in this response about the rise of socialism.
“Our response can’t be to ignore the economic concerns that are feeding this rising interest in socialism.”
“If we don’t get this right, don’t blame young people for being sympathetic to socialism, we’ve got to blame ourselves.”
“You don’t stop socialism by throwing slogans at people about the free market.”
As I explained last week, if conservatives in power don’t deliver the bold reforms we know will lower the cost of living, we cannot be surprised if young Americans—priced out of the American Dream by decades of quasi-socialist policies they don’t even recognize as such—take their chances on the Left’s false promises of socialism.

1 year ago tomorrow, the conservative movement lost a founding father.
Ed Feulner was a giant.
He co-founded the Heritage Foundation, built it into the intellectual engine of American conservatism, and gave the Reagan Revolution an institutional home for decades.

To everyone celebrating the first flight on Qatar Force One today, understand what you are actually applauding.
A foreign government handed the sitting President of the United States a $400 million plane. American taxpayers then paid to retrofit it, with an estimated cost of at least another $400 million (some estimates far higher), for security and communications work in a Texas hangar since last September.
When Trump leaves office, the plane does not stay with the government. Ownership transfers to his presidential library foundation. In other words, he keeps it.
You are being asked to treat pure corruption as normal, to shrug at a President personally profiting from a foreign gift the taxpayers paid to upgrade.
In any other administration this would be the scandal that ends a presidency.
With Trump, it’s Wednesday.

Today’s 6-3 ruling by the Supreme Court is a Victory for the American People and a Win for the Separation of Powers enshrined in the Constitution of the United States.
In Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump, our Supreme Court has reaffirmed that the Constitution grants Congress - not the President - the power to tax.
American families and American businesses pay American tariffs - not foreign countries. With this decision, American families and businesses can breathe a sigh of relief.
I’m proud of the work our organization @AmericanFreedom has done on this case through our robust amicus brief program to advance economic freedom and defend the Constitution.
With this historic decision, America can now return to the pursuit of Free Trade with Free Nations under the Constitution of the United States!🇺🇸
AAF Applauds Supreme Court Tariff Decision
Advancing American Freedom applauds the Supreme Court's ruling today that the President's tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) exceeded his authority. The Court ruled in Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump and Trump v. V.O.S. Selections, Inc. that IEEPA does not grant the President the power he claims to set tariff rates unilaterally.
Justices Roberts, Gorsuch, and Barrett correctly reasoned that if the Executive claims a major new power, it must point to a clear and unambiguous statutory language. IEEPA fails on the major questions doctrine.
As AAF argued in its amicus brief before the Court, both the power to tax and the power to regulate commerce with foreign nations are vested exclusively in Congress by Article I of the Constitution. IEEPA does not and cannot alter that arrangement.
The tariff fight is not over. Administration officials have already signaled that they intend to advance the same tariff agenda through other statutes, including the long-discredited Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930. The dissenting justices endorsed the President’s ability to tariff so long as he pivots to a different statute.
AAF will continue to stand for the Construction and the liberty of the American people it exists to protect.

Democrats in Richmond have been in power for almost two weeks, and in that short time, Virginia has already been ravaged by insane legislation coming out of the General Assembly. What Trump is proposing isn’t strategy, it’s burning allied trust for nothing.
