The cutest part of NVIDIA GTC Berlin? The Microducks. 🦆🤖 During his keynote, Jensen Huang shared the stage with tiny, wobbly biped robots trained entirely by AI in a virtual environment (Omniverse) .. and his statement to think on.. "Everything that moves will eventually be robotic." Now.. if this makes you think so what? heres the response **2 core breakthroughs** a. Simulation first training.. so instead of engineers writing code to control their legs, the microducks learned to walk entirely through trial & error inside a digital simulator (NVIDIA Omniverse). Consider it like packing years of physical practice into just a few hours. b. Instant real-world adaptation..... And once their AI brains perfected balance in the virtual world, the software was then uploaded into the physical robots. This allowed them to walk instantly and react naturally to any real-world pushes or uneven ground like a living creature.

BREAKING: "Speculative data center debt is being repackaged and sold to pension and retirement funds, university endowments, and other institutional investors in a manner eerily reminiscent of the subprime bubble," per AFR

Dubai has the most unrealistic standards for government services. I wanted to rent a car on Sunday, had the thought on Saturday night. I realized I need an Emirati license as I am a resident so have to convert my current one. Started my application online, went to the 24/7 happiness centre that processes any government related issue. Got an eye test, waited 2 minutes, got the new license printed on the spot. Whole thing took 30 minutes. They even had a cafe in the centre and were walking around with a jug giving out arabic coffee. I love this place

BREAKING: Today, we witnessed the future of agentic AI. Introducing Superintelligence Startups A highschooler can now reach +$4M/month by giving Claude full access to his Mac. 12 months ago this was straight out of a scifi horror movie. This is just absurd.

🔥Great directional advise … Getting rich is a skill issue. Slow-rich advice is bullshit; pick a faster vehicle like YouTube, agencies, or a cash-flowing business. A hundred reps beat a four-year degree because fast feedback turns data points into patterns and money.

Work of years months getting done in weeks .. as Griffin will get mature , align latency or face expression movement more accurately … world is going to be cooked 😳
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav…

kuch nahin hoga.. all optics.. may be for 'vanity' purposes.. they will make some moves... the capex cycle riding on AI is too big to fail........for now..
Summary: The advancement of AI through recursive self-improvement poses significant risks. To balance AI safety and benefits while allowing time for crucial alignment, Dario suggests: 1. Embedding third-party evaluators in AI companies 2. Coordinating safety standards and progress limits between countries.

As scary as it sounds... academics.. 'degree' . IVY league.. and similar thoughts are deep rooted in our society.. Can't go out in 5-10 years... Education will flip into new way of teaching, move away from slow pace of 2,3,4 years of reachout to a degree diploma... and we may see more popularity in courses around 'critical thinking' and similar ones where people graduate with curriculum and not mere certifications.. highly possible..
Dr. Pratosh at IISc Bengaluru tells his students that rapid advances in AI are commoditizing intellectual labour. He raises an unsettling question: if companies stop recruiting on campus in the next 5–10 years—even at India’s top universities—what will the purpose of a university education be ? A must watch video for everyone in tech

Weird things you see on Gurugram roads: Honking at red lights (Signal sharma nahi jayega!) Helmet on the elbow (Head safety first!) Zig-zag driving to save 40 seconds. Let's leave these habits behind. Ride safe and follow rules, Gurugram! 🚦🛑 #GTP #RoadSafety #NoHonking

Too far fetched .. Frontier AI companies will not hire for raw coding but either for technical judgment, product sense, and the deeper ability to manage AI agents , esp autonomous and certainly Applied AI hiring will super boom !! Certainly the global population of approx 40-50 million coders will not be there .. it will significantly go down ..
Software Engineering is truly doomed
