Wanna know the real @jihoz_axie? I’ve worked with Jihoz for years, having first met him back in 2021. I can personally vouch for everything he’s saying in this statement. He has made an incredibly positive impact on my life and the lives of hundreds of builders I know around the world. He is one of the hardest working people I know. He never stops pushing forward and genuinely wants what’s best for the ecosystem and its community. What drives him goes far beyond financial success. It’s about honoring his parents, making a positive impact on the world, and being part of history. He could have retired a long time ago, but instead, he chooses to keep building, regardless of the attacks, criticism, and adversities he faces. I’ve had the privilege of traveling alongside him, spending months in his company, and even being welcomed into his home. Throughout all these years, I’ve never witnessed anything suspicious or anything that would make me question his character or intentions. Quite the opposite. He is a man of faith, a Christian who attends church every Sunday, and someone whose private actions speak far louder than words. His contributions to technology and innovation in Latin America have also been recognized through an honorary doctorate (Doctor Honoris Causa), associated with the Amado organization and UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, a specialized agency of the United Nations. What many people don’t see are the countless times he has privately supported charitable initiatives, donations, projects and people in need around the world, without seeking recognition or publicity. And I can speak to that personally. One of the most meaningful examples happened just recently, when my father passed away a few months ago. During one of the most difficult periods of my life, Jihoz was there for me as a friend. Not for publicity, not because anyone was watching, but simply because that’s the kind of person I’ve come to know over the years. It’s something I will never forget. I’m genuinely grateful that our paths crossed. Words are words. Actions speak louder. And his actions speak for themselves. Through every challenge, every setback, and every adversity, Jihoz has never stopped working on Axie, Ronin and its ecosystem. Axie is one of the few projects in this industry that has continued building relentlessly, regardless of market conditions or the challenges it faces. For almost 9 years. That’s what true commitment looks like. Not just showing up when things are good, but continuing to build when everything seems to be against you. Nothing but respect and gratitude for Jihoz.
