Here’s a honey badger pic. I hope it helps you feel strong and driven and maybe even just a little reckless!
A mini photo dump of some of my favorite big cat photos I’ve taken this year. And one of a cheetah, which science tells me doesn’t count, but it looks big to me! 😂

It’s time for the weekly episode of Rossifari Zoo News #zews! Today I start by sharing a little about my grandfather, then I decide to get happy with FIVE stories about red pandas! We also talk about an act of vandalism, how Paris Hilton may help save a species, and so much more!

This arctic fox @rossparkzoo was SO curious and friendly. They kept coming up to the glass to check me out, but then running away if I got too close. Silly, but utterly adorable, little fox.

This is Mimi, who now lives @rossparkzoo , but was born @cincinnatizoo , where I got to hang out with her a bit.

I always talk about how special red pandas are to me, so when I went and said goodbye to my grandfather in the hospital recently, I immediately drove from the hospital to Ross Park Zoo to see Mimi and get some emotional support from a red panda!
1
Sure enough, Mimi was sleeping, but she woke up, hopped down to the window, and spent some time with me. She’s SO sassy, but she woke up and came down right when I needed her. Such a good girl!
Hey! Welcome to the @akronzoo ! Today’s your first day working at the gift shop, so come help us move a snow leopard! WHAT?!???!!

Happy Red-Panda-Monday-Um, y’all! This is a bittersweet one for me. This is Benjamin, who was born at the Philadelphia Zoo before moving around a bit, including spending time @CapeMayZoo .
1
He sat by the red panda exhibit, watching Benjamin, and thinking about how much I love these animals, and how I shared that with Nanny towards the end of her life (including getting us matching magnets and getting her a stuffed red panda when she was in the hospital).

Today, I head to the hospital to say what will probably be my last goodbye to Poppy. Life is funny. Who knew a red panda exhibit at Cape May County Zoo would become a place that represents my grandparents to me? Hug your loved ones tight today, friends.
