All you Trump backers who lie about supporting Ukraine…this is what you actually support. These Ukrainians are being killed partly through the policy choices of the Trump administration. The USA could have saved many of these lives but chose not to. cnn.com/2026/08/05/europe/ru…

Ukraine is so militarily strong at this point that Putin is contemplating attacking NATO instead because it's a softer target.

Those replies represent one of the major issues of European security, and it's a delusion that Russia is weak because it can't achieve any substantial territorial gains in Ukraine.
The reality is that the Ukrainian army is the most experienced army in the world. Before the full-scale invasion, we also owned more tanks, artillery systems, and jets than half of the European countries combined and already had battle-hardened soldiers who knew the enemy well.
Almost no other European countries have such advantages, and it's dangerous to think any of them are able to stop them easily. Especially when they have already learned how to fight and are constantly adjusting their tactics.
Yes, it's cannon fodder assaults, but they are ready to sustain millions of casualties, unlike any other country. And trust me, they have well-trained, highly experienced units that have massive experience they can share with their partners.
This bravado may cost us, Europeans, another million lives, so everybody should be prepared and help Ukraine, rather than simply dismiss the enormous threat that Russia poses.
The worst thing you can do is to underestimate the enemy, but we keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

We're building ramps in Lviv, Ukraine. The work that the local team is doing is exceptional.
Here' they are at work and the same location after completing. The ramps are basically invisible. Feel like they've always been there.

We are adding a coding section to all of our Product Managers interviews at @Shopify.
We'll start with APM interviews. We expect candidates to build a prototype of the product they suggested in the case interview.
There is no excuse for PMs not building prototypes.

Як то кажуть — hello world. У моєму випадку — hello again. Повертаюсь у соцмережі не з порожніми руками, а зі своєю музикою яку багато років відкладав. Тепер і в стрічці, і в серці знову щось грає.

The 2014 and 2022 Russian invasions have driven Ukraine’s already dire demographic crisis to catastrophic levels. Birth rates are among the lowest in the world, while death rate is the highest. Despite enduring horrific human losses during World War I, the Holodomor, and World War II, Ukraine managed to survive and emerge independent - remarkable resilience. Today, tens of millions of Ukrainians have been displaced, cities reduced to rubble, and millions more are being pushed into poverty. This is Europe's worst humanitarian tragedy of the 21st century.
Despite the incredible resilience of the Ukrainian people and their heroic resistance against one of the world’s largest military forces, the collapse of the country and the erasure of its nationhood is a real possibility. Many pro-Ukraine advocates in the West seem to ignore this grim reality, believing Ukraine can hold out indefinitely. Yet, its population has nearly halved, its industry is in ruins, and people are fighting on, impoverished, for the basic right not to be assimilated or exiled to remote corners of Russia.
Either Russia’s ambitions are stopped in Ukraine, allowing the country to quickly rebuild like many post-war nations in Europe and Asia, or Ukraine succumbs to becoming a buffer zone between East and West. In the latter scenario, its occupied territories would be plundered, and its population relocated to replenish Russia's human losses: at the cost of Ukraine’s future.
Ukraine faces the highest death rate and lowest birth rate globally amid Russia’s war
The demographic crisis poses the greatest long-term threat to Ukraine’s defense and sustainability. For every 1,000 Ukrainians, 18 die while only six are born annually euromaidanpress.com/2024/09/…

In war there are some situations when if you don’t try you don’t know whether it works or not. Only those who sit idle don’t make mistakes. Or it’s very easy to be wise in hindsight. Especially if you bear zero responsibility.
