The safety of our students, staff and families is a top priority in the Rockwood School District. Proposition 3, the zero-tax-rate-increase levy transfer on the Nov. 7 ballot, would provide the district debt-free resources for annual safety, technology and facilities needs without increasing the tax rate. Rockwood Valley's Emily Pettersen and Amy Hall recently used mullets to teach about proportions, using the ratio of long hair to short hair! The activity helped students review prior standards and skills and set up a fun and engaging intro into the new unit. #ForwardwithLearning
