In the next release, Rspack will support `codeFilter` for loaders ⚡
Run a loader only on modules containing specific code, such as a "use foo" directive.
Skip unnecessary transforms and speed up your builds
We moved the Zephyr Cloud dashboard (1 host + 7 Module Federation remotes) from Rspack to Rsbuild 2 by @rspack_dev, then let Rsdoctor 2 drive the cleanup.
First load: 1,045 → 729 KB gzip (−30%)
Build: 112s → 90s (−20%)
15-route journey: 1,294 → 788 KB (−39%)

In 2025, I wrote about Rspack in Angular. 2026 update:
🔹 Now @nx/angular-rspack
🔹 i18n, SSG, HMR, SSR app engine supported
🔹 Rspack 2.0 ready
🔹 8× faster than Webpack, on par with esbuild
On Webpack with Module Federation? Look at it. On esbuild? Stay.

You can now select TanStack Start in create-rsbuild too
TanStack CLI now supports Rsbuild! 🦀
Create your next TanStack app with:
npx @tanstack/cli create my-app
Select React → Rsbuild, and start building.

We also see an extremely high correlation in the adoption of module federation and a product teams adoption of ai. Even pre-ai, teams who adopt federation average 3x increase in product output.

We’re also pushing Rstack and MF further within ByteDance, where we continually find and address bottlenecks in codebases with 10M+ lines of code

Rspack now powers massive codebases at some of the world’s largest companies, and feedback from these teams keeps making it better.
Engineers at Microsoft and OpenAI have contributed over 100 PRs and issues. Thank you for all the contributions!

Since then, our app has grown significantly, but with every new Rspack release, our build times have gone down.
Every release brought performance improvements, and now our production build takes just ~40 seconds.
We save a lot of time thanks to it!

Rspack 1.0 is only two years old, but these numbers make it feel a generation behind 🫢
I hope we’ll say the same about 2.x when 3.0 ships

Looks like Bun uses its own Rust type checker for type-aware linting.
We built Rslint on typescript-go for fewer type-checking surprises. That’s why Rslint is mostly written in Go.
I wish TypeScript native were written in Rust. It’d make the tooling ecosystem more unified
👀 `bun lint` and `bun format` just landed
- 600k+ lines added in one PR
- 1,000+ built-in lint rules
- Fast (of course)

Less duplicate code. Smaller bundles. 📦
We've improved Rspack's chunking algorithm to reduce duplicate modules across chunks.
In a large production project, this change resulted in:
• -2.53% less raw JS size
• -1.51% fewer chunks
Child chunks can now reuse more modules already available from their parents, while preserving loading behavior.

Module Federation for Nuxt 0.2.0 is out.
- Rspack builder support. Vite and Rspack apps can load each other
- Typed props, emits and slots for remote components (dts: true)
- Remote components server-render in nuxt dev on Nuxt 4.5
Still beta, so please report what breaks.

Some thoughts:
1. This is a reasonable decision. Maintainers know the codebase better, so it can be more efficient for contributors to report issues and maintainers to implement the fix.
2. Rstack will keep accepting external PRs. We want to grow more contributors.
3. Overall, I think AI-generated PRs are already better than the average human-written PR.
4. We should be stricter with low-quality AI PRs. Review the intent and design, not the implementation.
5. GitHub needs better human-agent collaboration. If humans are just relaying messages between maintain ers and agents, that’s inefficient.
6. Issues should count as contributions too. If an issue leads to a merged PR, the issue author should get contribution credit on GitHub.
