I like. Went to vote and the guy directing the line asked "is this your first time voting?" And I said "it's my first time voting this year" and he laughed hard. Like, was what I said funny? I wasn't joking, Am I just autistic ?

It's only beloved because it's really fucking dumb and Dean Cundey returned so the movie looks good. Please don't insinuate the film is beloved because John Carpenter was a good writer
Joe Russo

John Carpenter famously admitted to writing HALLOWEEN II drunk. Forty-five years later, HALLOWEEN II is still a beloved horror sequel. That’s how fucking good John Carpenter is.

I highly recommend listening to Abel Ferrara's audio commentary on KING OF NEW YORK.

My initial thoughts about Clayface (watched it on Thursday) - it suffered from rewrites that made Matt Hagen more likeable - the goons are great - Tom Rhys Harries is great - every bit of clayface fuckery is awesome - needed more gross shit Thank

I really liked that the goons in Clayface feel pulled from batman the animated series

60% of my deaths have been to grenades, 30% jumping to my death. Max Payne so far is a masterpiece I fear

There's one scene in Clayface where it randomly becomes one of those 90s cgi comedies like The Mask or Nutty Professor. There's even a group dance sequence

Seeing The Devils reminded me of how stuffed crocodiles were sometimes hung from the ceilings of churches to symbolize dragons. This seems to have been a 15th-16th century trend.

This movie is stapled into my brain because of the scene where a guy is accusing Oliver Reed (who's a priest) of getting his daughter pregnant, and it ends when the guy says "I'll see you in hell!" and Oliver Reed casually replies "On a carpet of aborted bastards, no doubt"

Now that you’ve seen THE DEVILS, I implore you all to see Ken Russell’s CRIMES OF PASSION if you haven’t already. Horny, hilarious, romantic and profoundly sad all at once, it’s the film Douglas Sirk would have made if he’d known about poppers and pegging.
