"Two persons may exchange messages, conduct business, and negotiate electronic contracts without ever knowing the True Name, or legal identity, of the other... Arise, you have nothing to lose but your barbed wire fences!" Bitcoin will not fail before everything else does. And if it does, I'd rather live and die on the sword of Freedom.

This is one of the coolest things happening IMO in crypto. I'm stoked it's with @Payward / @krakenfx . Can't wait to see how this does!
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Payward’s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts. HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback. Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

the monero:native emails were us. they were wrong. here is what happened and what changed. what happened - clients who bought xmr with their own money and withdrew it got an email asking for employer, source of funds and what they planned to do with their coins - no rule required it. someone saw a young client with a lot of money and called it a red flag. that is not a red flag. that is our customer and client what changed - those requests are withdrawn and the clients have been told nothing is required of them - the "what will you do with your coins" question is gone and unacceptable. where your money came from is a fair question. what you do with it after it leaves is not xmr stays listed. buy it here, take it home. that is the product.. we'll keep making it better. thx for the call out. xitter.cf/i/trending/21137903135…

For 15 years I've marketed products to people. My new one is built for AI agents. I've joined @krakenfx to lead marketing for AI products, starting with Kraken CLI, which lets agents trade. I'm also working with @arjunsethi again after ten years, and I report to @kamobit, who was our growth advisor at @farmsteadapp. I spent three years at @askjoai building a personal AI agent, and I wasn't done with agents. My growth rule since @Yahoo has been "never ship without an experiment behind it," so I'm happy Kraken CLI has paper trading built in. Your agent tests a strategy against live prices, and when it works, "kraken paper buy" becomes "kraken order buy." If you live in terminal and film builds or trading breakdowns, I want to see what you'd make with Kraken CLI. Same goes for the influencer marketers and agencies behind them. I also want to hear from newsletters and communities that reach developers, AI builders, and crypto people. Want to join Kraken, solo or with your whole team? DM me. You can try Kraken CLI without an account: kraken.com/kraken-cli

Kraken co-CEO Arjun Sethi on why the exchange is buying a bank to give customers yield and loans "We've agreed to acquire a company called Saldo, which is the bank in Lithuania. We're still going to work with regulators and hopefully, knock on wood, we expect that to happen, closed out in 2027." "I think today a payments firm can park your money. It has safeguard. It's one for one in some cases. It can't pay you on it. And it can't lend against it. A bank can do both." "I always go back to first principle, which is collateral. What you want to be able to do for your customers with collateral is anything that a bank can do." "Lending against what you hold becomes really important for that collateral. Getting yield, as much yield as possible becomes important." "A lot of people ask, why are you doing these? It's because our customers have been asking for all of these products and services around banking and asset management." "A bank license in one EU country then can also passport to the other member states."

True
Most countries' financial markets are smaller than a single US corporation, too small to absorb a big shock on their own. @arjunsethi says DeFi's real promise is one global liquidity pool, where the whole world absorbs the risk so people everywhere can grow their assets.

most companies are still talking about ai agents. ours closed 5,908 tasks in the last 20 days. here's what's actually running inside and soon to be outside @Payward.. inside: - sep 10 we opened team agents to everyone. 82 requests approved in the first two days - 13 agents became 136 by sep 29. 106 live in team channels, 30 more in setup, working alongside 2,212 people in 152 teams - names like kyc chad, prop clanker, mithrandata and shaggy - nearly half of those 5,908 tasks started on their own, on schedules and triggers our teams set up. you shouldn't have to tell an agent to get started, you hire them - busiest ones: our consumer growth agent with 2,118 tasks in 30 days, our regulatory reporting agent with 1,114 - every team agent can write its own upgrades. it writes the code and opens the merge request, a human decides whether it goes in. the agent makes itself better, we still decide what ships - team agents alone: 6.9B tokens, 160K model calls so far - agents are starting to use computers: sign into a tool in a cloud browser, replay a recorded workflow, finish the job. in testing now - 1,276 of us signed up for a personal agent, 1,136 have logged in, 242+ have put one on a schedule - a dev platform ai team of 3 shipped coding agents, general agents, an llm gateway and company search in under four months - coding agents: 16,000+ sandboxes since may, 2,900+ merged MRs - general agents: 85,000+ conversations - our dev platform went from 40 agents on 10 teams in june to 240 on 40 outside: - you can trade just by chatting with kraken's ai in the US app on @krakenfx. those trades grew 17x from early august to mid september as we opened it up. still early, people are using it - one september week: 22,000 conversations, 2.2B tokens, a typical reply in about 1.4 seconds, about 7 cents a conversation. nobody wants their trading app to stop and think..... - last december a personalized market brief cost 40 cents a user to generate. two weeks later it was under 3 cents - the ai side panel is rolling out on @krakenpro. describe a strategy in plain english and backtest it against 180 days. 1,269 backtests in the first month. try the idea before you put money behind it - trade by chat in telegram, whatsapp, imessage soon.. - or bring your own agent. the open source kraken cli has 170+ commands, 59 agent skills, mcp and paper trading built in. let your agent prove it on paper before it touches real money next up: agents that remember you, reach out first, and work in the chat apps you already use. breaking news in seconds, load tested at 40,000 live connections. the model should disappear. it should feel like talking to someone who knows you, markets and money.. everything we build for ourselves, we're building for our customers. the agents that run payward are becoming the agents that work for our customers. agents, not features. this is the slowest it will ever be.. soon we'll have an army, millions of agents we hire, and they hire, and the same self direct behavior we will enable for our customers for free. we ship, not announce.

The @Krak app is pretty dope It’s Venmo but you can just send any token that kraken supports and or just good ole USD Plus there’s a debit card with 2% cashback tied to the card Have been sending family members random crypto’s I’m invested in and leaving them with the existential crisis of having to make the decision of selling the token or riding alongside me

let me help you: 1. payward trading 2. payward banking 3. payward asset management 4. payward services all the entities you drew sit within 4 pillars; eventually we'll vertically integrate more products so that any customer, institution in the world can risk manage the same way citadel does in microseconds. reduce the intermediaries to zero including us... we will innovate and disrupt ourselves for best in class products.
all of this is cool, but i wanted to figure out who @Payward actually is and what Kraken has to do with it tldr: it's the top-level parent company, and Kraken and xStocks sit under it along with some Bitnomial and NinjaTrader, which got acquired for one main reason, they already held DCM, DCO and FCM licenses, which let you issue futures and list them, clear them yourself, and onboard clients with KYC anyway, did some research, dropped all the connections in the chart below
