Some news: After 45 years (including a 20-year run as movie critic/film reporter), I have ended my career at the Memphis daily newspaper, The Commercial Appeal (@memphisnews). I was hired Oct. 19, 1981; my last day was Oct. 1, 2026. I accepted a company buy-out.
