New film: 7 Hours of Ambient Hiking Footage. 12 trips, start to finish, no talking. My biggest format on YouTube. Claude Opus 5.5 did the work and I directed: it cut a 262-clip montage, I asked for whole films. It also ran the launch and the posting. youtu.be/2upU96IeRlw

Dems in 2020: "We should shut down the factory of the guy who accelerates everything he touches." Dems in 2026: "WTF he's the biggest political donor in the US now?!?!"
Elon Musk has spent more money on American elections in the last two years than George Soros has in his entire life.

Personal Computing is becoming Intents-based:

This is the shift in computing: PCs/Apps are tools AI is about intents Express your intents and AI will use the tools. xitter.cf/ryanfoxeth/status/2087…
Extremely bullish on generative UI. Right now software is mostly organized around features, but generative UI would let you organize around intents. If you're experimenting in this space pls reach out! Here's a flow we're testing out

Ok I admit I did not have 'SpaceX rewrites aviation control software to launch more' on my bingo card. This company does not take no for an answer it's truly something else...
In a comment to the FAA, SpaceX says it wants to launch 10,000 times per year. The FAA asked for input on where to build new spaceports and how to give rocket launches priority in US airspace. They're preparing for 10,000 launches a year by 2035. SpaceX replied that rockets aren't the bottleneck anymore, the FAA's outdated air traffic processes are. They created their own airspace tool (Cleared) that most major US airlines already get for free. They also noted that Starbase Louisiana is designed for ~30 launches and reentries PER DAY (!!)

Without ever asking, @Muse prompted me today that it noticed how a newsletter I subscribe to ( @stratechery ) has come to a similar conclusion as I have. It recognized everything I’ve been building the past 3 years and my theses on where this is all going. StarDeck is my personal OS, a collection of apps and APIs which work together on various devices. Pastlight Theater is a classic film rating app I built for my father and I, which I eventually made into a 3D-printed digital movie poster frame powered by a raspberry pi. The insights derived by proactive agents make computing feel magical again. The general public has no idea what’s about to hit them…

Hot take: Every platform needs to offer everything. The next round of winning aggregators will be AI agents. More vertical integration = more value for users. • Grok Bots integrated X data for free. • Grok is the best at using X data. • Muse is best situated to use Facebook/Instagram data. This trend will continue…
Hot take: IG looking to steal market share from Netflix while they are down, and angling themselves towards challenging YouTube, eventually.

This is like paying for VS Code at this point. You don’t need to pay for a front end or an IDE.
I just paid $400 once for Final Cut Pro and used it for a DECADE but Apple has been slooooowly dripping more and more features behind the subscription version in Apple "Creator Studio" ... and I think they're finally about to get me to pay ($129/yr) with this latest update. some exciting tech news this morning — anduril is building the first american-made computer in 20 years
Today, @anduriltech and @qualcomm announced a new laptop that will eventually be 100% made in America, a “first step” toward creating a market for U.S.-manufactured components and total technological self-sufficiency. Building computers in America should be a matter of “national pride,” says @PalmerLuckey. @JonasYDu reports 👇

democrats: if we take power we will seize elon musk's companies and put him in prison and no, we do not care if he technically committed any crime or not also democrats, somehow: why is elon musk funding republicans?
Elon Musk is dumping half a billion dollars into Republican races. Why? Because Democrats in Congress won’t be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and will actually fight to lower costs.

Doom scrolling but games. Totally agree.
Netflix introduced creator content. Disney is hosting short form. IG is now doing long form. Every single platform will support creator long form x short form. They are all competing for net attention. YouTube is winning this big time currently on a long time horizon. Games will be next at some point. Vibe coding is going to do to gaming what short form did to video. It sounds insane, but I think we will be encountering games on our scroll soon.
