The Nintendo DS is 20 years old!
To celebrate, I put together a retrospective to analyse how Nintendo’s strategy led to the DS’ success, changed Nintendo as a company and whether or not it could work with Switch 2

I’m 28, out here on my laptop, looking like Coraline’s dad. LAIKA's masterful WILDWOOD threw me back to the wonder I felt when I first watched Coraline as a youngling, even down to the dread that had me jolting in my seat.

Things are moving so fast that everyone seems to have completely missed how insane it is that AI companies have been allowed to unleash agentic AI products with no regulatory guidelines.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.

Just yesterday, I had critics tell me that they didn't like a film that I'm working on. I had good relationships with them before, and I will continue to do so after. As a PR, of course it would make my life easier if everyone just gave rave reviews, but I respect their opinions.

So many more posts about Netflix's (actually insane) cadence of ads now. How is this a good user experience at all?
Speaking of racism in the animation community…
Just a few weeks until my panel at Manchester Animation Festival about how the animation industry is failing people of colour
Come along!
I can take the racism but I draw the line at making fun of Pokemon
Once again we're seeing a critic heaped with insults and horrible comments because they've (rightly) criticised a film... Which the general audience hasn't even watched yet!
Personally couldn't agree more with @ryangaur the hyperbolic praise around Wildwood is a bit silly now

REVIEW: WILDWOOD didn’t work for me
It’s the kind of clean, well crafted “magic” that many critics only see value in animation for, but below that is a hollow, rote story lacking personality
